Many of you will be familiar with the A-Team that I've posted in its former forms, version 1.0 and version 1.1, however I've gone for a total overhaul and I've very nearly finished version 2.0 which will be the final form for my main team.
Slowbro {Bold} @ Leftovers 152 HP / 252 Def / 104 SpA Surf Ice Beam Slack Off Calm Mind
Oh no! A bulky water without over 200 HP EVs! Not at all. I put this to good use in my team, the 212 HP EVs that Smogon recommends weren't what I needed, especially in double battles. It works well as you'll see later
Ludicolo {Calm} @ Leftovers (for single battles)/Damp Rock (for double battles) 204 HP / 80 SpA / 120 SpD / 104 Spe Ice Beam Surf Grass Knot Rain Dance
Works like a charm with Slowbro to finish off double battles and works just as well to pick out Swampert and friends in single battles.
Garchomp {Jolly} @ Life Orb 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP Earthquake Dragon Claw Fire Fang Swords Dance
My sweeper that I often put to good use. Gets attacks in on most Pokemon, but is very much the typical kill or be killed Pokemon.
Ninjask {Jolly} @ Focus Sash 252 Spe / 252 Atk / 4 HP X-Scissor Baton Pass Swords Dance Aerial Ace
A truly evil strategy comes to play... It can take a hit and BP to Electivire or Garchomp, even Slowbro to speed up the great bulk. However, there is another strategy too, possibly more evil. Many people use paralysis to put a stop to Ninjask and that's when I switch into Electivire and get the speed boost.
Electivire {Adamant} @ Expert Belt 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe Earthquake Cross Chop Thunder Punch Ice Punch
Switches in to take electric hits and a speed boost for Ninjask and Slowbro. Sometimes it can even be part of the standard Ninjask BP strategy, but the important thing is that its versatile within my team.
Weezing {Quiet} @ Leftovers 120 HP / 136 Atk / 252 SpA Thunderbolt Fire Blast Dark Pulse Explosion
I don't care for the STAB of Sludge Bomb, thunderbolt has better range. I chose Dark Pulse over Shadow Ball because I've found if more effective. Weezing helps out big time in double battles. Often when I sent out Ninjask and Weezing people expect the Weezing to explode (obviously the surprise set doesn't do that on the first turn) and therefore take defensive measures allowing Ninjas to stat up. On rare occasions (should I be put in such a corner) I'll BP Ninjask into Weezing to speed it up and up Explosion's power.
I also have a Miltank which sometimes appears in this team, however I'll probably permanently relegate it to my B-Team.
So what do you think? Any thoughts, improvements or ratings? Post them please.
