Welcome To Pearl Town

Bridgette could see the small town known as Pearl Town before she actualy reached. Standing on the outskirts of the quaint little town, she could see the red roof of the Pokemon Centre clear as day. That would be her first stop.

Trudging down a narrow dirt path, she emerged from the highly vegetated forest. Jace was following close at her heels, his yellow fur standing out in the sea of green. Kurugane flanked her trainers right leg, glancing back every now and then to check up on the newbie.

The air conditioning that flooded the Pokemon Centre felt good to Bridgette. She hadn't realized the perspiration that had gathered on the back of her neck, but know she noticed it, clear as day. Quickly, she put Jace and Kurugane back inside their Pokeballs and daintily handed them over to Nurse Joy.

"Would you mind healing my Pokemon for me?" she asked very softly. The silence inside the tiny building seemed almost palpable and Bridgette didn't want to disturb the tranquility.

Nurse Joy gave Bridgette a sweet smile as she took all four Pokeballs from the girls grip. Carefully, she placed them on a machine where they began to glow and a machine monitored the healing of her Pokemon. Within minutes, all of there health was restored and Nurse Joy handed them back to Bridgette. "Here you go sweetie" she stated.

Bridgette thanked the woman for her kindness and then took a seat on one of the overstuffed couches in the lobby area. At least now she could relax.

Running towards the Pokémon center, too fast to stop Tuck was. Aye he wanted to get there to take a rest but he was going to fast.

“Ok.. GOT TO SLOW DOWN!” He mumbled to his Out of breathe self.
Finally he hit the Pokémon center going to fast for the Automatic doors to open In time a large “THUD” Was herd as Tuck slammed into the Automatic doors and flew backwards landing on his back. “Zzz” The automatic doors opened after he had landed his fall and that was just Tucks luck… He laid there grasping the back of his head

“Ahhh…. That wasn’t the best idea I have had…” He said as he got up wobbly like trying to regain his balance from falling as he slowly walked into the Pokémon center. His Coat had dust all over his back from where he had fallen and there was a sharp pain coming from his right arm. But Ehh why bother complaining about it?
He approached the counter and said

“Could you please heal my Pokémon?” He said as he placed the Sphere that were the containers holding his Pokémon on the counter.

At last his Pokémon were healed, He glanced over towards the girl sitting on one of the overstuffed couches. He walked over to her.

“ You mind if I sit here?” he asked as he stood at a angle towards the left of the girl who was Bridgette.

Bridgette was deep in thought, remembering how tough it was just to get through the forest that lay a short ways away. If she couldn't make it through something like that quickly, than maybe she wasn't cut out to be a trainer. Maybe it was the fact that she was dealing with new and different Pokemon than the ones she was used to. Well, owning a Honyuu was a lot different from having a Squirtle.

Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by a boy attempting to sit down. "No, I don't mind at all" she told him, using her hands to push herself over to the other side of the couch. Bridgette couldn't believe she had chosen to just sit in the middle of the couch, that seemed very rude right now.

"So" she continued, embarrassed at her lack of social skills. "What is your name and what brings you to Pearl Town?" As long as she was staying here to rest up, she might as well get to know a few of the locals as well. Though, by the look of his outfit, he seemed to be traveling as well.

Giving a smile to Bridgette he sat down. He didn’t think it was rude of her. She was their first so in Tucks view nothing was wrong with it.

“Well my name is Tuck. Tuck Shadowfall.” Tuck said trying to sound call,

“And why I’m in Pearl Town? I’m actually from Slate Port city in the Hoeen Region. I came to Tsignia… Well for a lot of different reasons.” He replied as he glanced down at his Aqua Symbol on his Jacket. But emmitatly returning his sight to the girl he had just been talking to.

“So how about you? What’s your name and what brings you to Pearl Town?” He asked with a smile
He felt a slight “Zzzz” IN his coat pocket. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a phone that looked a lot like a Voyager, with the front touch screen and all. It was vibrating giving the warning of

“NEW TXT MESSAGE!” Not wanting to seem rude he quickly pressed the “VIEW” Button and skimmed it quickly getting all the information out of it. It read “IF YOU SEE THIS PERSON CALL HQ EMMITIATLY!” The picture attached was of a girl with Pale Skin and Dark Blond hair.

He quickly exited it and returned his phone to the pocket in his coat and turned to the girl again saying “Sorry about that. I keep getting… Forwards!”

Tuck didn't seem to be offended by her asking questions. Bridgette was just a very curious person by nature and, so far, it hadn't gotten her into trouble. There was that one saying that always troubled her though: Curiosity killed the cat. When she was little she figured since she wasn't a cat, then they saying wouldn't apply to her.

"Oh" she said, "I'm Bridgette, Bridgette Renaldi. Pleased to meet you" she continued, crossing her left leg over her right. "I originally come from Violet City in the Jhoto Region but now I am just trying to visit every region there is so.....here I am".

She gave a weak smile as Tuck turned to his pocket. Interested, Bridgette glanced over and saw a flash of metal with words on a screen. They were meaningless to her and before he turned around, she stared straight ahead as if she saw nothing.

He gave a sort of apologizing look and complained about "forwards". "Oh" Bridgette replied, "yeah, I absolutely hate those vile things!" The truth was she never had owned a cell phone and didn't actually know what the term meant.

“Yeah. So you said you were from Violet City? Isn’t the famous Sprout Tower there?” Tuck said as he put his hand up to his chin thinking.

“And the Gym Leader uses bird Pokémon? My dad went there once on business with him. I believe his name was Falkver? No..” Tuck continued as he thought. But at last he threw his hand down into his lap and said

“Oh! There it goes… My brain stopped…. I know if begins with F though.” Tuck finally finished, even though Tuck was a fool and anything you could think of a Idiot doing he had done at least once. He knew a lot about the Hoeen Region and the Johto Region from his parents breeding business.

“I wanted to go to Johto so badly… How is it there?” Tuck finally quit ranting about the Johto Region and asked her opinion.

Bridgette hated talking about the Johto Region. It held too many painful memories of her brothers and family. The only time she was happy in Johto was when she had finally beat the Elite Four and was able to move on.

Blankly, she looked at Tuck. "It's a really nice place" she told him, telling the truth for someone who didn't go through what she had. "The scenery is nice and there are so many unique towns and Gyms along the routes. Honestly, it is one of the more beautiful regions".

Her stomach knotted as the last syllable escaped her thin lips. Bridgette hadn't said a good word about Johto as long as she could remember. Not wanting to ruin the nice conversation she was having with awful memories, Bridgette pushed them to the back of her mind and took a deep breath.

A growling sound seemed to tear through the quiet atmosphere of the Pokemon Centre. Embarassed, Bridgette's face flushed bright red. "Sorry", she said, I'm just hungry is all".

Tuck looked at Bridgette with a puzzled look and then said

“That sounds about right! From what I have herd atleast. Its still one of my big places I wanted to go though!”

Tuck pondered about random things that were going threw his head. The picture of the lady in the Message and memories about the band, The Hoeen region and day dreams of the Johto region! But these were interrupted by the loud growling and with that he also realized he was starving.

“ Well. I myself am STARVING… Shall we grab a bite? A friendly invite?”

Tuck thought about what he was saying and then continued

“I don’t know any thing about what food is good around here… not sure if vending machines here are worth going to… Or if the restaurant food here is good… Got any ideas?” Tuck asked
