Title: 2x12 Terror On Cupcake Street
Description: number twelve guys

InsaneBlueberry - October 9, 2011 11:04 PM (GMT)
Summary: Sikowitz tells Tori and the gang about a big parade that's going to be on national TV. They make a cupcake float, and ride inside, but while transporting it to the parade, they get a flat tire. They are stuck in a dangerous part of LA when a gang of crooks come. Robbie wants to ask them for help, but then realizes they are thugs. Tori screams and tells them to get back in the float. Things get even worse when the thugs start shaking the cupcake float, and Beck tries to scare them away by shooting off confetti. The gang, plus Sikowitz, must figure out a way to fix the float and get out of town safely.

Air Date: October 15, 2011

...

They're wearing PJ's which is pretty awesome. Haha.

Maybe it'll prove me wrong, but this episode looks boring to me.

Ciria - October 9, 2011 11:15 PM (GMT)
It seems interesting enough but I'm not really excited for it. I have no idea why they are wearing PJ's lol.

Awesome! :D I can't wait to see this episode. ^_^ I'm a bit of a crime/thriller/mystery junkie, so this might just be my cup of tea. . . *laughs evilly*

Plus, this might just be one of those episodes where the characters are explored. Reaction to stressful situations does reveal a lot about a person. . . :ctt

sameoldstory - October 10, 2011 02:46 PM (GMT)
I'm hoping the stressful situation will reveal more about the characters, but since they already had the chance to do that in Survival of the Hottest and wasted it, I'm not getting my hopes up.

theMidnightRainfall - October 10, 2011 03:11 PM (GMT)
It looks amusing, at least. Not really interested in it.

je crois en l'amour - October 11, 2011 03:56 AM (GMT)
I don't think the Survival episode really lacked character insights, but it's just my opinion. :)

I have yet to see the most recent episode, but I can't wait to see this one already!

I only liked Andre, Sikowitz, and some of Jade. Glad someone finally broke that stupid iPad. Otherwise this episode was stupid and I have nothing to say about it.

InsaneBlueberry - October 16, 2011 12:41 AM (GMT)
I mostly enjoyed Sikowitz being himself. Especially the end of the episode. That was hilarious.

Jade was ok.

Andre was pretty awesome, like usual.

And Cat was annoying.

Ciria - October 16, 2011 12:53 AM (GMT)
Episode was boring and I had trouble paying attention. I wasn't really excited in the first place.

Tori was stupid, Cat was annoying.

Robbie, Beck, and Andre I paid almost no attention too.

Sikowitz is the highlight of the episode.

Eh...if I were to rate this out of Ten I may give it a 2/10 only for Sikowitz. Maybe a little less.

HorsesandBade - October 16, 2011 12:58 AM (GMT)
Cat was pretty annoying.

I think "Jade Gets Crushed" was better. I don't know. It was pretty stupid but pretty funny.

I would give it 5/10. I only liked Jade, Sikowitz, and Tori.....sort of. It was okay.

sameoldstory - October 16, 2011 12:59 AM (GMT)
I thought it was stupid. It barely even held my attention. The characters were as one-dimensional as usual. :/ The plot was weak too.

Vilo - October 16, 2011 05:42 PM (GMT)
Sikowitz was just awesome this episode, I liked the idea of the episode and the jokes that were made.

je crois en l'amour - October 16, 2011 09:44 PM (GMT)
I actually loved this episode. It was hilarious as heck! . . . added to that pending feeling of danger, of course. ;) Sikowitz' ironic comment about the other students just "reacting", the constant jab on iPad and ridiculous apps through Robbie and his PearPad, Jade's volatility, when Tori kicked Trina on the mouth unintentionally, and Sikowitz' arrest--everything was brilliant. It kept me laughing the whole episode! ^_^ I thought that they may have also slightly alluded to Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key when Cat swallowed one of Jade's keys. I don't know if they did that deliberately or not, but if it is the former, then it might be telling on why Cat acts the way she does.

I'm glad they went with this, though, even if they distanced the plot from reality. I mean, come on. If they did end up in gang territory in California and rubbed those men walking down the street the wrong way, all of them would have gotten in a bigger trouble than they had. And if Tori did wander the streets by herself--goodness only knows what would happen to her.

But I was glad that they showed Sikowitz' protective side again, when he made sure that Tori and Robbie got inside the float first before he runs in himself. I was also glad that the writers didn't make Robbie look like a selfish guy, but protective one. He made sure Tori gets to safety first before he makes a run for it himself, which I thought was cute. ( *cough*Rorimoment*cough* )

The only "quirks" (though I really don't think they were) that I saw were when Sikowitz was asking the police for help (Goodness. Seven children inside a cupcake, and his pants was missing. That sounded SO wrong. :P ), and Rex's thoughtless as always comments.

And did anybody else notice Danwarp's logo plastered at almost every street corner? I probably saw it two, if not three, times. Maybe they're advertising. :P

All in all, great episode! It was lovely. :D

My points:
- Sikowitz stole the show this episode
- Robbie annoyed me with his humongous pearpad
- Rori moment that Remi told was noticeable and nice
- Sikowitz, you did it again mr Eric Lange, kids in a cupcake, pants missing LOL.
- Tori going out herself to look for André and Beck was just plain stupid. If those guys were real gangmembers they'd probably beated her up or r..ed her.
- Swallow the key reference, nice.
- It ended weirdly too soon, it was like, wanna come with us, okthanksbyecredits.
- I wanna know if Sikowitz escaped successfully lol.
- More Beck character development dahm it.

I think even in the show, that was their plan. Of course, they were foiled before anything could happen, but the subtext was there.

Indeed, Schneider's still playing hide and seek with Nickelodeon :P

Ciria - October 17, 2011 11:44 PM (GMT)
What is the swallow the key reference?

This may have been the weakest episode this season, I think I laughed like once. Jade gets crushed was pretty good tori tortures teacher was alright, my personal favorite of the season so far is definitely Who did it to Trina.

iHeart Jori - November 23, 2011 10:48 AM (GMT)
Where is Cat and Jade's friendship? Jade was so rude to Cat in TOCS. On the order hand, she was really nice towards Cat in FTFO. I don't know what the writers are trying to do here, but it could be anything except for characters development.

Vilo - November 23, 2011 12:25 PM (GMT)
What I said before in Season 3 discussion, s2 is like an AU of s1 imo.

ILoveBeck101 - December 5, 2011 09:19 PM (GMT)
This episode was pretty good. Not my favorite, but still pretty good, even though I wasn't too crazy about the plot and wanted to see an actual parade happen. I hated that they gave Beck like two lines this episode. But seeing him in PJs...that made up for it.

OMG, Sikowitz was hilarious. The whole police scene made me laugh. "There are seven children in a cupcake who need me!!" And his laugh when he saw Beck and Andre in PJs: priceless.

Tori was a bit dumb asking strangers for help...but Jade made me laugh when Robbie spun that app with the wheel- "I can't remember a time when this wasn't happening."

Okay episode, not the best.
