Ciria - September 1, 2011 08:19 PM (GMT)
Seriously? This is legit? I'm interested.
Tara - September 2, 2011 01:35 AM (GMT)
Does Nathan Kress being a guest star mean we're getting iCarly's Freddie in the ep?
je crois en l'amour - September 2, 2011 01:43 AM (GMT)
^ I was wondering the same thing. It'll be kind of odd to see him there, and the characters wouldn't recognize him as Freddie.
Well, come to think of it, Victoria was Shelby Marx, and they didn't say anything about it.
Regarding the episode, it sounds good. We get to have a classic 'whodunit?' huh? :D
Glitter64 - September 2, 2011 04:26 AM (GMT)
Nathan tweeted when this episode was filmed awhile back that he's just making a little cameo in the crowd at Trina's play. Kinda like how Jerry Trainor did in, "Jade Dumps Beck".
sameoldstory - September 2, 2011 04:44 PM (GMT)
I'm actually excited for this. It sounds interesting. I hope we get to see more of the group interacting differently, you know?
InsaneBlueberry - September 2, 2011 04:51 PM (GMT)
This sounds like a good episode, I hope.
Ciria - September 11, 2011 01:49 AM (GMT)
PromoReally excited :D
I love mysteries!
InsaneBlueberry - September 11, 2011 01:59 AM (GMT)
This one seems really great. I saw the promo and was thought it sounded awesome.
But it annoyed me when the promo said "Who done it." It should be "who did it." Ugh. Haha.
theMidnightRainfall - September 11, 2011 03:56 AM (GMT)
This episode actually looks interesting. I give ten bucks on a bet that everyone blames Jade first. I wonder if someone did actually set her up or if it's just going to turn out to be an accident.
sameoldstory - September 11, 2011 04:17 AM (GMT)
I'm actually looking forward to this. Hopefully I don't regret it. I'm betting everyone will put the blame on Jade and/or Tori, but it'll really be Beck or someone random like that.
InsaneBlueberry - September 11, 2011 03:17 PM (GMT)
I bet everyone will blame Jade or Tori also. They seem the most obvious. But it'll probably end up being Cat or Sinjin. Cat because she's Cat. Sinjin because he works with the lights and production junk.
It might also just be Trina because Trina is just herself and she makes dumb mistakes.
sameoldstory - September 11, 2011 04:01 PM (GMT)
Sinjin would make sense. Maybe he'd get fed up with everyone turning him down and want revenge? But I can also picture Trina doing it to herself just to see who'd care.
InsaneBlueberry - September 11, 2011 04:24 PM (GMT)
Maybe it was just Trina wondering if people cared. Or she just messed up because she seems like the type to somehow mess up.
sameoldstory - September 11, 2011 05:13 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I can picture that too. Maybe Trina just didn't want to admit that she messed up so badly. I don't know, but the episode better not let us down.
je crois en l'amour - September 12, 2011 05:02 AM (GMT)
Ha! So they are going for that classic 'whodunit?' mystery plot. . . *grins evilly*
I think it might also be possible that someone committed an honest mistake, but since the "evidences" look staged, Lane suspected that someone set things up.
A lot of possible scenarios. . . :hmm
Ciria - September 12, 2011 10:02 PM (GMT)
What if it was Sikowitz sabotaging his students? :hmm
theMidnightRainfall - September 12, 2011 10:47 PM (GMT)
As in some sort of simulation thing? Is Trina even in his class?
Ciria - September 12, 2011 11:39 PM (GMT)
IDK could be that.
It might be whoever designed the sets fault.
The only people we ever see in his class are Tori and the gang.
Ciria - September 17, 2011 09:17 PM (GMT)
They posted sneak peeks. If you guys want them I'll post them but, I refuse to watch them. They ruin the show for me :(
sameoldstory - September 17, 2011 10:02 PM (GMT)
Ugh, more sneak peeks? I'm not watching them either. I don't mind some spoilers, but why watch, like, half the episode before it premieres?
theMidnightRainfall - September 17, 2011 10:11 PM (GMT)
^ That. I mean, that defeats the purpose, especially since these are only thirty minute episodes.
Ciria - September 18, 2011 01:11 AM (GMT)
Pretty good and funny, IMO. I loved Jade and Tori's flashbacks. I like to see how they see each other. Robbie's was also lol worthy. Cat was...eh. But, I loved the Drake & Josh cameo! :D
InsaneBlueberry - September 18, 2011 01:14 AM (GMT)
Not the best episode, but I did like it. I enjoyed some of the flashbacks. Jade's was kind of funny since Trina seemed like the innocent person while Tori was the evil one. Then Tori's was interesting because Jade was a monster. But I hated how Tori thought she was so perfect and sweet when I can't even see her acting like that.
And Robbie's flashback. Wow. I was kind of hoping that Tori would randomly pop in and start fighting over Robbie too. Haha. But, at least Tribbie seems more canon since I think Robbie was going to choose Trina over Cat. Thank god because Cat and Robbie would destroy each other if they were together. No offense to users who ship Cabbie of course.
Andre worrying about that one girl was pretty funny. I was kind of hoping at first he had done it and that he was just trying to not be blamed by saying he had to meet a girl.
Kind of disappointed that they didn't figure out who did it to Trina and just blamed it on the equipment.
Also, if Andre was one of the suspects, why wasn't he in any of the flashbacks?
And kind of happy that it was Rex/Robbie who did it. Seems in-character to me. But honestly, if Robbie was flirting around with Trina so much in his flashback, why would he do that - even though it was "Rex."
OH! OH! And Drake and Josh! AHHHH! I loved that cameo. I loved it. LOVED IT! Haha. And I remember that episode so much and I've always loved that episode because it's hilarious. Cat's "flashback" was so amazing.
Anyways, anyone else's thoughts?
sameoldstory - September 18, 2011 01:17 AM (GMT)
I actually liked this episode, for the most part. It was funny and engaging. More thoughts:
- Cade is back! Somewhat, anyway. Sitting together at the play, Jade being the only one to pull Cat out of her whatever it was... it wasn't much, but it was better than nothing.
- Andre, I love you, but what was that? You lost your nice, caring attitude for a random girl?
- Did anyone else get a That's So Raven vibe with the unreliable flashbacks? You know, from that one episode where Raven taught at Cory's school? I'm not saying they copied (it's a common trope), but it just reminded me of that.
- The play was dumb, but at least we got some good Tribbie moments out of it.
- I suspected it would be Robbie. I wish we could've found out why. I also wish we could've found out what Cat and Trina really argued about.
But oh well. Still a good episode overall.
theMidnightRainfall - September 18, 2011 01:18 AM (GMT)
I really liked this episode. Seems to me that season two is starting to redeem itself. I wasn't at all expecting it to be Rex-through-Robbie. That was a really nice twist. I was seriously expecting it to be Jade (and I was seriously going to be p*ss*d).
I loved the flashbacks. It was so funny to see Tori and Jade from each others perspective. I thoroughly enjoyed monster!Jade. Robbie's flashback was amusing, too, with Trina and Cat fighting over him. Cat's flash to Drake and Josh was nice. I love that show.
The only thing I didn't like was Andre's incessant "I need Kiko now!" It was funny at first but it quickly started getting annoying. Though it was funny to see him run out of the room that fast. He was obviously planning on getting laid.
Nice cameo of Nathan Kress. Where was Beck? (I didn't notice he was gone 'till it was over and I realized that he isn't really essential. I didn't think his character was /that/ plain 'till now.) Was I the only one who spotted a bit of Trinjin?
Ciria - September 18, 2011 01:24 AM (GMT)
When they started talking I was like, OMG Trinjin? I'm not even a fan but...you never know. I could start to become one.
I didn't notice Nathan lol. And true...Beck isn't really needed though he's nice from time to time.
Andre's Keeko thing was annoying and kinda lol obviously
Monster Jade was Lol. Then how Jade sees Tori. And how Tori sees herself...lol.
I'm using lol too much :o

A. I totally agree. Tori's flashback of herself made me want to kick her in the face. Even I don't see myself as perfect and sweet and UGH.
B. I was wondering that too. I was expecting to see his side of the story, but then I realized he wasn't in any of the others' flashbacks.
InsaneBlueberry - September 18, 2011 01:37 AM (GMT)
Trinjin. I remember when I used to ship them. I still sometimes see their small little moments like tonight's.
Even I noticed Andre was wanting to get laid. On the slap he posted that they had a blast together.
@Remi Ugh. Tori's really annoyed me. I was kind of glad Jade wasn't being too innocent in her flashback because she seemed more sneaky than innocent in it. But Tori was too sweet. Way too sweet.
Lane should have realized that Andre wasn't in any of the flashbacks and just let him go so he could go have a blast with Kiko.
theMidnightRainfall - September 18, 2011 01:40 AM (GMT)
Did he really? Way to make it obvious. XDDDD I haven't checked the Slap in forever.
I feel like that partially has to do with the fact that Jade knows she's not nice and she doesn't care that she's not nice. Tori, on the other hand, wants to be a good person and likes to think of herself as the sweet hero.
I was personally enjoying Andre's torment. Reminded me of my guy friends. Who I miss dearly since starting college.
InsaneBlueberry - September 18, 2011 01:46 AM (GMT)
I just check it after each episode to see if any characters post anything interesting.
Tori just needs to realize she's not super perfect and nice and sweet and wonderful. Js.
I don't have a lot of guy friends. I talk to guys, but we're not exactly "friends." Except Taylor. But we're friends because all the guys bully him since he's friends with tons of girls. And I'm sorry you're missing your guy friends. I know that when I start college in a few years I'm going to miss lots of my dear friends.
sameoldstory - September 18, 2011 01:48 AM (GMT)
Season two is definitely improving. I just hope they don't make me regret saying this next episode, lol.
I was also afraid they were going to have it be Jade, so I was so happy when I was proved wrong. That would've been way too predictable.
Partway through, I noticed Beck's absence, but I didn't really mind. I never cared for his character. :/
And it looks like Trina isn't the only Vega girl who thinks too highly of herself. Tori's image of herself isn't nearly as bad, but it's still messed up. They both need a bit of an awakening.
And I now have enough posts for the Cade image. :D
Ciria - September 18, 2011 01:51 AM (GMT)
True. Looks like Hollywood Arts and the people around her has made her ego a bit too big. She made her sister look kinda....bad. She obviously doesn't think that much of her. Jade's portrayal of her I liked more. Though, does Jade think Tori is jealous of her? Just thinking because of her last line in the flash back.
theMidnightRainfall - September 18, 2011 01:51 AM (GMT)
I used to do that, but then I got lazy.
Seriously. That would be the perfect character development for her!
I always figured Jade thought Tori was jealous of her talent. Mostly because I think Jade's jealous that Tori keeps getting all of the good parts even though she's still a novice in the theatrical world. Honestly, I'd feel the same way if I were Jade.
What? I've never in my life heard of people making fun of a guy because he only has girl friends. All the guys I know mostly only hang out with girls. Partially because they all want to get laid, but I digress. That kind of pisses me off. It's not that big a deal, but it's really different not always being around a group of guys. I miss it.
InsaneBlueberry - September 18, 2011 02:47 AM (GMT)
Maybe Jade does want Tori to be jealous of her. *shrugs* Don't really know though.
Well, all people are different. All I know is that poor Taylor is always bullied by all the guys in my grade. He's got girl friends in every grade - from 7th to 12th and he's only 9th with me. Plus, I think all the guys think he's getting laid and they're just jealous of him - although he's stated before that he wants to wait till he's eighteen or older.
theMidnightRainfall - September 18, 2011 02:54 AM (GMT)
Well, we do know that Jade is kind of really prideful, so I wouldn't be surprised if she thinks that most people should be jealous of her/look up to her/etc. Especially Tori since she's new and Jade doesn't like her in the first place.
...That's just...boys are weird.
sameoldstory - September 18, 2011 03:02 AM (GMT)
Honestly, I think Jade is very insecure, especially when it comes to Tori. I think she just covers it up with pride.
InsaneBlueberry - September 18, 2011 03:53 PM (GMT)
Jade probably is insecure and wants Tori to be jealous of her. Plus, she might have been wanting to annoy Tori by having Tori call her pretty in her flashback.
@Remi Tell me about it...

je crois en l'amour - September 19, 2011 05:46 AM (GMT)
I saw the episode recently, and I thought it was pretty nice but scary at the same time. I'll jump in to the Tori's self-image convo in a bit, right after I talk about the person who really caused Trina's accident. :P
So. When everyone in Lane's office was trying to figure out who did it, I had a feeling that Rex might have done it. When I remembered that Trina swung her fist at him, I thought that that didn't sit well with him. Rex doesn't seem like a person who'd let that go easily. Now, in that line, I really thought that this part is scary. As we go on in the show, it becomes more and more evident that Rex really is Robbie's second identity. He seems to be the person Robbie wants to be, and it's disturbing in the end to find out that deep inside him (Robbie, that is), he has the capacity to harm anyone he wants to, especially if he doesn't like the person and what that person did. He did nothing to stop Rex from rigging the harness, and he seems guiltless from what happened. Sure, he chastised Rex (or himself) for doing it, but the tone of his voice is just like that of a parent when his kid thought of taking a cookie from the jar but never actually did it. He was sorry that Rex had something to do with it, but not that sorry that Trina could have been seriously hurt or even killed.
If this was real life, Robbie's mom or relatives needs to seriously think about getting him to a psychologist. Robbie's a very sweet, thoughtful, and smart guy, but his other identity's bordering psychopathy. :(
Now, Tori. I think that it's probable that she thinks highly of herself now, but it's also possible that she painted herself as a total innocent because she's afraid to admit that she had said something that would garner her more suspicion. Maybe she was even afraid that she did something that contributed to Trina's accident, so, even if she knew she didn't do the actual rigging, she felt guilt. And after all, it is her play. She's supposed to keep watch over everything, then that happened. Her desperation to prove herself innocent to everyone and herself pushed her to exaggerate--just like how most people actually would.
But I really thought it was hilarious how she portrayed Jade to have been, and vice versa. :rotfl
Hopefully they don't take a long time in airing the next episode. . .
