Twilight Princess over Ocarina of Time?, Current Opinions

From what we've seen, many people have said Twilight Princess is going to take Ocarina of Time's place as they're #1 favorite game ever. Well, I've seen trailers and read reviews for Twilight Princess, and I do admit, I was near to being fooled of this game as well. I'm not saying it won't be good, but it certainly won't beat Ocarina of Time! It can't! I hope not, anyways, for Ocarina of Time was my first and since-then favorite of the series. Do you think it will beat Ocarina of Time in the race for first? Or has Ocarina of Time already gotten there?

I think it can! The Twilight Princess is going to have a complex story-line and assortment of characters. It is probably going to be rated "T" for teen. Plus, the graphics are going to destroy the graphics of Ocarina of Time!!! I have VERY high expectations for the Twilight Princess!

Well I guess that I must play it first to have an opinion.

Good point. We all have great expectations for the game, although none of us have played it. We should wait for the game before judging it.

The qoute means don't count on something happening before anything has even started. For example, if you said "We are going to have ten puppies!" when you dog was pregnant, you would counting your chickens before they have hatched. It says you are counting eggs and thinking every single one will live, and they haven't even been born yet. We are saying "The Twilight Princess will be awesome!!" when it hasn't even been released yet!

Chosen, maybe so, but I don't think most people think that far into it.

I think TP will be much better than OoT. Mainly because OoT is overrated. Yes, it's good, but it's had it's time. Let it go.

Well you are basically putting your hopes up when you do not know of the outcome...

By the way, Random, you are partially right. The classics will always be legendary, like Beethoven for example, but they should never be forgotten or compared to the more recent events, except with rap, in that case, there is no comparison, Beethoven is MUCH better!
