Bleach, Everyone's favorite...

You know you love it. Those of you who have seen/read it. It's a great anime, a wonderful manga, and it's just one of those things you cuddle with when you go to bed. Except the Hollows, they're creepy. But Ichigo, you can just love him.

Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. A quick synopsis (no spoilers...unless you count the first episode). Ichigo Kurosaki is a normal 15 year-old student with orange hear (or bleached, that's where the series gets its name)....who can see ghosts. Ever since he can remember, he's been able to sense them, but recently they've been getting clearer and he can talk and touch them. So when a Death God named Rukia Kuchiki searches for a Hollow at his house, he attacks. Surprised that Ichigo can see her when normal humans can't, she explains to him the workings of the spirit world. Good spirits are called Pluses, or Wholes, and bad ones are Hollows. She sends good spirits to Soul Society (or heaven) while she must defeat the Hollows. When Ichigo's family is attacked, Rukia finds that Ichigo's extreme spiritual power has been blocking her own. She fights the Hollow, but sacrifices herself for Ichigo. In order to save his family, Ichigo must pierce his heart with Rukia's blade Kitsuki so she can transfer some of her power to him. Astoundingly enough, he accidentally takes all of her power. After defeating the Hollow attacking his family (a.k.a. Fish Face D), he finds he must take Rukia's place as a Death God until she can regain her powers.

*whew* That's a brief summary of what's going on. Throughout the story, his friends have their own special skills and such, and he fights plenty of Hollows (which all look creepy). It's a great anime, all should read/watch!!

i havent seen the anime but i read volume one of the manga, i really want to get the rest of them cuz it started off really cool

i feel bad that the Second Hollow Ichigo vanquishes is ..... nvm.... i cant say that >.>

well its cool nontheless, i need to buy some manga soon b4 i go nuts :P

Heh, thanks to a good friend of mine, I have the first volume of Bleach, and now I have to figure out where to buy both Beet (or is it 'ea'?) and Bleach Manga. Not having it is severely devastating!

It's Beat. I got 1-12 of that, too. Yay for connections. But Bleach is an anime, but it's not on TV. My bud burned it onto cd's and is letting me borrow them.


And yes, you do feel bad for that Hollow, but that's just how it has to be. At least he still gets to go to the Soul Society.

yea its good that reaping them doesnt destroy their souls and just purifies them. so it kinda has a happy ending i think :blink:

Yay Ichigo! Doing his job right! And now that I've finished 1-12 (all I can get to see), I've met KON!! The loveable, huggable, rubbable teddy bear with a mod soul inside it. Gotta love the kid.

I see many with avys advritizing it, but I never really knew what it was... until now... :blink:
