Hibari charged forth, an act Toru had foreseen. Heh, predictable Hibari. He cocked back his arm, ready to lash his chain at the straight forward foe.
At that moment, Tsuna had barged through the roof entrance. Toru's eyes darted towards the door. "Sawada...?" he muttered. The intrusion had changed his plans. No longer could he attack safely with a new enemy in the area.
The man suddenly stopped his movement and shuttled backwards. But there was a slight resistance in his chest, a warm liquid oozed out of his shoulder with a flare of strong pain. Toru dropped on one knee, turning his head around to see the cause of the injury. "The spiked ball...?" He was pinned, unable to move from his new position.
"Looks like I underestimated you, Hibari..." His eyes shot over to Sawada still in the doorway. "Looks like we're having a class reunion." Blood poured onto the ground. "So what now, Hibari?"

He stopped when Sawada Tsunayoshi burst into the battleground, when the Millefiore captain retreated, but not because he was surprised by the intrusion. He just knew that it was over.
And it was. The moment Toru backed up, he stepped right into his trap. The hedgehog was almost twice as large as any of them now, not to mention the size of the spikes was dangerous. Exactly the same mistake Gamma did, and Hibari wondered how ignorant the enemies could get.
He cast a side-glance at Sawada, almost threateningly. Kusakabe had disobeyed him, he had figured. As much as Hibari did not like the intrusion, at least it ended the battle earlier. He wiped a little more blood off his wounded hand with his suit. "You're late, Sawada Tsunayoshi. But it doesn't matter anyway. You can now see how weak Millefiore is to have even taken in this person."
He looked towards Toru at the question, tonfa raised. "I would prefer not to waste my time and strength over you. I didn't expect more anyway. Go home." A little gesture with his box, and the hedgehog retreated, plucking its spike out of Toru. Then the creature dissolved into box before shutting completely. He started walking towards Sawada, indicating that he was no longer staying. "Go, we're done."

Toru collapsed onto the hard and cold surface of the Namimori rooftops, an all-too familiar feeling. He had lost once again. The blow was crippling. He suffered wounds that would takes months to recover from, but the emotional wounds he endured would never vanish. The wave of emotions flowing through Toru was overwhelming. Anger, sadness, fear, all coursing through him. He struggled to get up. More blood oozed onto the ground. The man didn't mind, he no longer had the mind to care, the only thought in him was death. "Hibari..." he murmured. "When you win a fight, you kill the loser or use him. Hiding behind the excuse of 'wasting strength' isn't good enough. I do not accept pity." More blood splattered on the ground as Toru's weapon was cast aside. He fell to his knees again. His consciousness was fading. There were now two Hibari's, then four. Now there weren't even four, the rooftops were black. The man's eyes were glazed over, still glaring at Hibari or what was behind him. Toru has fainted on his knees, the blood loss was too much. Hibari stopped at the doorway behind Sawada, glancing over his shoulder past that thick brown hair at the man on the floor. Then his eyes shifted down at the Vongola Tenth. He was considerably much shorter than the last time he saw him, which was tiring to him, but he did not bother saying anything.
"You don't know? It's Nishio Torubi, the Archery Club vice-president. Though I have long forgotten about him, but it seems that he has gotten more impressive then he used to be, if not still weak."
He paused for a second after hearing the last question, gazing at that boy before him with a sort of scorn look. "Don't sympathize for the enemy, Sawada Tsunayoshi. That's how you fell into Millefiore's hands. Not only that, it's sickly. It's not like I killed him anyway, but he won't be active for some time. If you want to stop worrying, he's got plenty of time in bed to think about what's going on."
He looked away from the young Vongola Tenth, and at his injured hand instead. Blood was starting to dry, and he had only noticed how numb it was. Probably from the electricity. "We don't have to do anything about him. Go."

"Saa," was the response from Hibari first. He never bothered asking that question in the first place, because he did not care. It would not be useful to them anyway, even if he used to be a good friend to Sawada. And not that Sawada's interest was cared for either.
He glanced up from his hand at the last question, though there was no surprise from him. He smiled a little. "Hmph. If you have time to worry about everyone, worry about yourself. You're the tenth boss of Vongola. If you die again, who knows what this world would become, even though it could be more interesting. However, your friends care about you too."
Perhaps there was something implied in there, but he did not show it enough. He turned, just as Hibird fluttered down to him and settled on his shoulder, chirping the Namimori anthem once more. It was getting old, but he did not seem to mind. He started down the stairs. "Stay longer if you want, but you're going to protect your own self. I'm not going to help."
