Konomi had, over and over, gone through the battle she and her silly subordinate were about to get into. There was roughly a two percent chance of winning, if even that, and she doubted luck could come and save them. Hibari didn't strike her as man who could be beaten through such a thing. In order to win, it'd have to be a miracle, and on the wheel of fortune, there was but a single space for that.
She had arrived a few minutes after leaving the library and Youko leaving to go off on her own. The ninth Fortunato had taken to resting on a tree, staring at the leaves and branches as she waited for someone to show and went over things such as how to beat Hibari despite the too low chance and which weapon she should use. The glaive was just a single weapon while the tekko were two, like Hibari's tonfas.
Youko had arrived but Konomi continued to muse on different matters. Youko had only used a staff, and although it was fancy, Cloud fed on other flames. Her subordinate also was considerably more acrobatic but that had gotten her into trouble before, considering the whole ankle ordeal. Hibari seemed to be a very perspective person, so perhaps he'd see that was wrong and exploit it. Konomi didn't have any weaknesses like that that she knew of. In the ten years though, she had changed battle wise. It use to be she preferred strength over defense and agility, though now she'd rather have speed and the latter two.
Strength was mere bruteness, but if she could get more hits in a single minute, then it seemed more worthwhile to focus not on power but on attack speed.
Coming up with a less-than-detailed strategy, Konomi walked out of her spot, appearing as casual as she usually did with her hands in her shorts. "Did you choose a weapon?"
