This is a rare occurence for me, a helpful post.

For those of us that are still playing PhiDoi, you can get quite a bit of the game translated into English. The missions, alt click menu, Arena menu, your interface, and abilities. Skills, and weapons are still not translated though.

To do this, you must download the aeRO patch.

Don't do anything in the above link, besides downloading the Base Patch. The Base Patch is .rar file, so you will need an archiver for it. I use WinAce, it's free and easy to use. You can get it from here...

Just a trial, but you rarely need an archiver.

Once the aeRO patch is extracted, copy the Res-Tex file in the aeRo folder. Paste it directly into your Phi Doi folder. This will overwrite your current Res-Tex.

Once you have done that, go into your Res-Tex file and delete your AFList.tex. You now have PhiDoi in partial english, and you can cuss freely.

I noticed that the delete function in your character select menu is different and completely inelegible. This only happens when you have no open slots for new characters. This was tested on my spy account, that only has one character, and the normal delete function was still useable.

Anyone that knows Vietnamese and has the aeRO patch on PhiDoi 1.07 want to translate what the delete window says? Please.

It's not that, when you click the delete function an entirely different box comes up. It asks for two things. I've tried all of the possible combinations. Name + Yes. Name + Name. Name + Delete. I can go on forever, not sure what you are supposed to do.
