The year is 2008. And everything the world thought it knew is about to change. July 21, 1978. . .

Preperation to take over the world above took a lot of time and planning. Azazel's plans, while known to nobody but the sole demon working behind the scenes with him, were much more far-sighted than any demon had thought to bring to fruitation in millenia. He was working to create an army. . .and in order to do that he targeted select children and gave them powers the likes of which mankind had never seen. They would be his children, his champions, and in the end only one would survive to lead the bigger army. He created a corporation, an under the radar military styled building that would begin work too advanced for the age. Cloning. Gene splicing. A human organization but a front for demons. . .for him. The work they created would be his army, the one that his champion would lead to bring Hell to Earth when the day finally came. And with his ambition Manticore was born, the most depraved of human kind working alongside those they did not know where possessed, working to create the perfect soldier.

November 2, 1983. . .

At six months old, Sam Winchester was brought into the fold of the army of the future. Azazel's favorite, Sam was given the demon's blood and was narrowly rescued from death by his father and brother. Four year old Dean Winchester carried his brother from the house but not before Azazel took something from the eldest Winchester as well. . .giving his own blood to Sam, Azazel took blood from Dean while the child slept. This blood would be used in the endeavor to create the perfect soldier and the men that would grow to become legendary hunters because of this night would not be the wiser until far into the future.

December 2, 1998

With plans well underway, a new group of supersoldiers had showed the most promise. One, in particular. Azazel knew he needed to keep an eye on that one and in the coldest months of winter, X5-452 and her eleven other brothers and sisters escaped out into the world, away from the only Hell they had ever known. A man-made hell but it was the same as flame-drenched pits to them. . .Freedom came at a cost and the "siblings" were seperated. Years would go by before they would reunite, before they would grow into full fledged adults that the world could never understand. X5-452, or Max, would rise to a greater destiny then Azazel could have imagined.

September 25, 2006

Opposition. Something that Azazel didn't truly expect and the children that had escaped his grasp came back to haunt him. Max and a few of her siblings, the ones that hadn't been killed in the fight for freedom, returned with a vengeance. In the process Max was captured but the help of new allies gave her freedom back. And spelled a kind of end for Azazel. Max's drive to see Manticore fall enabled her to win the trust of Alec McDowell and Joshua, thus paving the way for Manticore to fall at her hand. The labs exploded and the transgenics were loosed into an unsuspecting world. . .Azazel's plan had just gone up in the smoke of Manticore and to make matters worse, things with the Winchesters were not going well at all either.

The genetically empowered soldiers could not hide under the radar for long and the world would never know that they had been created for a much darker purpose. . .and chances were, the soldiers wouldn't find out either. At the same time that Max and her group were fighting for their rights and freedom, Sam and Dean were ending a personal and private war with much too high a cost. Taken to the middle of nowhere and ending up the sole survivor, Sam was killed by the blade of a young man too frightened to stand with Sam and fight the Yellow Eyed Demon. Unable to see his brother dead, Dean sold his soul to the Crossroads Demon, despite protest from his younger sister. Sam was brought back and Dean was given a year to live. Ending a life long battle, Dean shot Azazel with the mystically powered Colt. . .and began a whole new fight.

The gates of Hell were opened and another two hundred or more demons were loosed into the world, adding chaos and anarchy where before there had been some semblance of order. Demons jockeying for power and a few rose up, recreated the halls of Manticore under the radar and under the guidance of an unknown power. A power that had been working with Azazel the whole time. . .unbeknownst to everyone. The demons loose in the world all wanted one thing, to keep their freedom and in order to do that it meant take down the opposition. The humans, the hunters, the. . .transgenics. Now a new war has begun on two fronts. A war with the demons to keep the world as it is, and a war for the transgenics to keep their right to live as human beings. . .and the world is caught in the crossfire.
