Divx is a digital multimedia video format that compressed the audio with MP3 codec and image with MPEG-4 codec. Invented by the DivXNetworks, and since it appeared in 2000 more and more people accepted Divx, because it can compress lengthy video segments into small size while maintain relatively high visual quality.
