Well, my hero is called Highway. He's based on a combination of the Punisher and Magog. He's a metahuman, whose powers are based in fire and dual wields pistols. His support role is tank, but he's bad ass at DPS.

Last night, I couldn't find a decent PuG and my regular group was MIA, so I made a villain called Mr Turk. He's a sorceror whose powers are based in nature and dual wields blades. His support role is healer, and I doubt I'm gonna dual role him for DPS. I'm only level 5 with this one.

Because capping screenshots of a PS3 game isn't easy, and there's no online armory yet.

I gave in and started playing Saturday.

Having loads of fun. The coolest aspect of this game is that I really don't care about leveling up. Last night I did a quest that didn't benefit me at all, just to go beat the snot out of Bane.

Exploring and interacting with the DC Universe is the fun part of this game. Sure, eventually I'm going to have to grin for badges to get into the Hard Alerts, Raids and Duo matches....but for now, I figure I have a months worth of time to just explore and relax.

The atmosphere is also much more casual. The leveling isn't all together tedious, as I said, leveling isn't even my goal. Exploration is and I've already crossed the mid way point to level cap.

It's amazing how much fun an MMO can be when you're already aware of the source material.

I can't remember anytime playing WoW where I was excited for a fight. But I'm doing a quest near the Met Hospital, when out of nowhere I bump into fucking Bizarro. It was exciting and fun, so I jumped into the fray...got some loot and had a blast.

I you're a DC fan, I highly recommend giving this a go.
