To all new and returning members.

Firstly, welcome, if it's your first or hundredth time here!

TwoPI has been running for over two years now, and after much consideration, has been opened up from its “invite only” status.

As we are now a well-established RP, with regular members, and a continuing storyline, we have some limits set in place to keep the site’s balance.

New members will begin as “Settlers”. This means you will have limited access to the board. Once you reach 20 posts, you become a “Villager”, so you can now access the Testing Grounds to RP. You will interact with other members here in character. Once a senior member, or a member of staff has approved you, you will progress onto the second level of “Apprentice”. You can now post in the Serious RP, the arena, and create and post a biography of your character

There, you will be tested for your competency in RPing, and if successful, will be able to access the board fully, and join the senior members in the War thread.

If anyone has problems regarding these new rules, please contact an admin, who will convene a meeting of the PI Council to discuss your case.

Any questions should be passed on to a member of staff.

Because of the mass confusion on the site lately, I will explain what each type of member can and cannot do.


Settlers-


CAN REPLY in Announcements, Welcome, General Discussion, Games, Our Talents, Presents, and the entire Books section.

CAN START THREADS in Welcome and General Discussion areas.

CANNOT post anywhere else until they have reached 20 posts in the listed areas. This is to discourage members who sign up but make no posts or who sign up simply to advertise other sites.



Villagers-


CAN REPLY in Welcome, Suggestions, Biographies, Testing Grounds, General Discussion, Rant of the Day, Random and Pointless, Games, Rules and Guidelines, Our Talents, Presents, the entire Books section, and when available Temp including Dungeons and Dragons.

CAN START THREADS in Welcome, Suggestions, Biographies, Testing Grounds, General Discussion, Rant of the Day, Random and Pointless, Games, Rules and Guidelines, the entire Books section, and when available Temp including Dungeons and Dragons.

CANNOT post anywhere else until upgraded to Apprentice status by vote of Senior Members and/or Staff members. In either case, the final decision is made by Majority Rule by the 5 Head Staff.


Apprentices-


CAN REPLY in Announcements, Welcome, Suggestions, Arena Tournaments, Serious Roleplay, Biographies, Testing Grounds, General Discussion, Rant of the Day, Random and Pointless, Games, Rules and Guidelines, Our Talents, Presents, the entire Books section, Advertising, and when available Temp including Dungeons and Dragons.

CAN START THREADS in Welcome, Suggestions, Arena Tournaments, Biographies, Serious Roleplay, Testing Grounds, General Discussion, Rant of the Day, Random and Pointless, Games, Rules and Guidelines, the entire Books section, Advertising, and when available Temp including Dungeons and Dragons.

CANNOT post anywhere else until upgraded to Soldier status by Majority Rule vote by the 5 Head Staff.


Soldiers-

CAN REPLY anywhere except the Archives and Old Chronicles.

CAN START THREADS anywhere except the Archives and Old Chronicles.


Note about Senior Members-

Senior Members have the same permissions as Soldiers, the difference being that they have been around long enough that they have become a part of our TWoPI family, and are loved and special so their opinions matter to the 5 Head Staff.
We are not sure if any new members will ever become Senior Members, but the possibility always remains open.
