Appearance: Though it is subject to change depending on which job she is on at the time her general appearance is of long dark brown hair, green eyes and olive skin. She has a lithe athletic build which she maintains through regular kick boxing workouts. Not one set clothing style as her clothing depends on the role she is playing. Though relaxing on the ship comfortable though maybe tight or figure revealing clothing is generally worn.

Attributes and Skills: Chameleon, she can be whatever she needs to be to insert herself to get the job done. Her looks don’t hurt in that department either especially when it comes to men, though a few women have been taken in by her too.

Knife Wielder – anyone who thinks that knives are just for cooking or for display has never met Lia. Though she’s good with pistol she’s much more accurate with a knife. Oh she’s also pretty handy with a whip to.

Forger, she took her artistic skills to another level when she found herself publically blacklisted due to family misfortune at a young age.

First Impression: "Oh I know her, lest I think it were her, was a red head I saw, pretty little thing all innocent like though. Came in all timid and naive like. Preacher took her in for a bit. Course that solid gold cross of the churches went missing soon after. Couldn't have been her though, she were sweet as pie."

Seemed to know so much about what was going on. Such class she had, a couple of other women’s partners started to get a bit too familiar with her and she kindly directed them back to their partners. Funny though I don’t believe I ever caught her name or which house she was working with.”
There are many other varying degrees of what people recall of Thalia. She is whatever she needs to be at a given time and her acting ability means the façade is never dropped till she moves on.

Under the Surface: Having played so many roles and been so many different personalities to so many different people it is probably fair to say that Lia has lost track a little of what her own true personality is. Therefore even those who know her well probably don’t think they do know her well and might view her as having slight split personality disorder. However one thing is certain, though she is likely to do basically do over or con any one she doesn’t know and quite frequently is known to work by herself to those she considers a friend or Ally she is unswervingly loyal. She would never turn them into the authorities even if it meant her own capture and she would go out of the way and put her life on the line to help them that. However should someone betray her then the knives come out (Sometimes quite literally) and she would be more than happy to take them down and screw them over.

Deep Dark Self: Lia lost her family at age thirteen and has basically been lost ever since. She sees herself as cursed loner that will do whatever it takes to survive, however deep down inside where even she does not realise she is seeking ‘a family’ to help give her back what she lost so young.

Public / Common History: Thalia was born to Lady Amelia and Lord Rashi Bhandari on Valentine. She was the youngest child of two and the second daughter there was a ten year age gap between the two girls. She is recorded as having performed in several primary school plays a couple as the lead. At ten she was enrolled in the Companion House Madrassa. At the age of thirteen her father was charged with treason and imprisoned. Her mother and sister were taken into protective custody due to the oppressive attitude laid upon them by their piers. Three months later they were reported as dead due to a separatist terrorist attack on the governmental Safe-house they were staying in. Her father is reported to have committed suicide in custody. There are images of Thalia appearing throughout the ‘Verse as she grew up though not much is known about her past the age of thirteen despite the fact that she inherited her family’s title tarnished as it is. There is speculation that she has fallen afoul of the law though so far nothing has been proven.

Unknown History: Her parents created a loving family and as the baby she was always thoughts of as cute. Her sister flourished in the society life and due to the age difference her father had pretty much given up on anyone following him into business therefore Thalia was pretty much left to choose her own destiny. She discovered at a young age (like three to four years old) she liked to entertain people she did this through gymnastics and putting on plays. As she grew she got involved in the school and after school social events like gymnastic tournaments and school plays. This caught the eye of the companion guild and at the age of ten was invited to train at their school. Figuring it an honour and being more than able to cover the fees Thalia was enrolled however her time there was relatively short. At the age of 13 her father was legitimately found to be conspiring with Rim and Border Governments about ceding from the government and was charged with treason. Of course being so young and so far away from home at the time Thalia was not quite sure what exactly was going on. All she knew was that in a matter of six months she had gone from having a family, home and potential career to having nothing. The Guild seeing how tarnished the family name had become after seeking help from her families peers for aide and now not receiving the funds to aide her education decided she could no longer remain at their training school. She was picked up by the child services to go into state care however the transport was hit by Pirate/Slave traders whilst travelling between planets.

Using her acting skills and what she had learnt from the Guild Thalia managed to endear herself to the Captain who separated her from the slave stock. Whether this was because he had a soft spot and saw her as something of a daughter or because he saw her as a potential bed mate Thalia was not sure. She did believe it was the latter however and therefore when the ship docked at Pacquin she managed to escape into the crowd.

After a couple of weeks and finding herself getting incredibly hungry (after all there is only so much you can steal from trashcans and shop windows, her previous life not really having taught her much about how to survive on the streets) she found herself getting into some trouble with a circus troupe. Speaking rapidly to try and get herself out of trouble she showed off her Kickboxing and limited gymnastic skills. After seeing the gymnastic abilities of the others she often wondered how she had managed to talk the troupe into letting her stay, but that was indeed what they did. She stayed with them for four years, learning a lot about the performance life and several different skill sets. She found out she had good hand eye co-ordination for knives, whips and to a lesser extent pistols. She made a good front end person because she discovered as with the troupe, that while talking to someone she could make them believe she was anyone she wanted them to think she was. She was also praised for her talent at art which was soon put towards use to not so legal means to get them into places they otherwise would not be allowed to go. Over the years she integrated herself with the troupe and was starting to feel that family feel again despite how different her life was with them. She probably would have stayed with them had tragedy not struck. Lia had become involved with a male performer who was a couple of years her senior. Despite their young age they had even mentioned marriage. However one night during a performance he suffered a freak and fatal accident. Lia's heart broke once more and despite the support the troupe gave her found it far to difficult to stay.

Life had once again handed things to her only to snatch them away. This time however she knew she had enough skills and knowledge to survive on her own. If being good did not get you good things well she would no longer be good. One night Thalia just gathered her things and disappeared from the troupe without even saying goodbye. A couple of days later she read some reports that evidence had been found that the troupe had been Independent Spies and that many of them had died when firing weapons at the Regiment. Lia did do a half hearted search for anyone that had survived not really believing the reports about the fighting back knowing the troupe she had been with. However her search was not thorough due to the fact that she wondered if the evidence had been her name on the performers list and given her families history that that had been the reason the troupe had been labelled as spies and killed.

She has spent the last ten years going from place to place, job to job, con to con. She has hooked up with partners in crime on the odd occasion and has even kept in touch with a few of them. She has several Aliases and accounts set up around the place with the aide of her forgery skills and though she probably has enough funds under her different names to settle down somewhere she finds herself enjoying the thrill of the job.

Secret History: One thing Thalia does not realise is that she does actually have at least one family member still out there alive despite what the official reports say.

New identities r us. If you want something forged or a new identity created then she’s your go to girl. She’s no expert hacker but she knows enough about entering into specific organisations or knows someone who knows that if you need a new identity set up she can get it done. Don’t need a whole new identity but just need that key card or id card to look like yours? Well you would swear her work was the original.

Fighting ability - Has studied kickboxing since her youth and is definitely a black belt in the art now. She was also a bit of a gymnast when she was younger. She never really took to a lot of of the Circus Acrobatics discovering she had a fear of heights. As such her gymnastic abilities faded as she grew though she is still capable of doing the splits or a back flip.

Has a way with words – Maybe it’s the way she says it or maybe it’s how she looks while saying it but it’s surprising how many people would swear the lies she spins are gospel truth. Course when one is running the con it helps to have a velvet tongue.

Strong stomach – She’s no doctor by a long shot, but she has a strong stomach and knows how to patch up a lot of injuries to make sure someone won’t be dying before they reach medical care. She also isn’t squeamish so is willing to go into places a lot of people would not.

Weaknesses: When it comes to a ship she really doesn’t have a strong skill set. She can’t pilot and engines confuse her. Don’t put her in the kitchen she’s more than likely to burn cereal – though she does make good tea and coffee as its one of the first things they teach in companion training. Though she can appear to be quite trusting and does indeed trust to some degree, she’s has not had an easy life so if things are going good she’s always waiting for that person to pull the rug out from under her feet. On the flip side because of her constantly changing demeanour depending on what needs doing it can actually take a while for people to trust her as even those she is close too might not be too sure if she’s on her next con or not.
