Bienvenue
~Welcome to The Third Estate. Set in Paris in the summer of 1794, this alternate-history RP allows you to decide the outcome of the Revolution. The Reign of Terror is in full swing; Robespierre heads the bloodthirsty Committee of Public Safety. No one's ideology goes unquestioned, and the people of France are experiencing a moral freedom such as has never been seen before. Paris is a place of fear, lust, and power-brokering. How will you survive it?
This site is rated R for violence, language and some sexuality.

Propaganda Here you'll find propaganda supporting the Revolutionary agenda. Paintings by David, leaflets, posters... all members of the National Convention and all pro-Revolutionaries (false ones included) may post graphics, cartoons, leaflets, etc. Also published here will be the monthly pro-revolutionary journal, 'L'Âme de la Revolution'.

Counter-Propaganda Here you'll find the monthly counterrevolutionary journal, 'Le Tribun du Peuple,' run by François-Noël Babeuf. You may also post artwork, cartoons, leaflets, pamphlets, etc. However... if you do so, you may very well find yourself interrogated by members of the National Guard. It's a great way to start a plot, so if your character is against Robespierre's Terror, post your dissent here!

Character Journals Put your character's journal here. This is where they may record their deepest, darkest thoughts... but beware, for nothing is truly private during the Revolution, and the wrong ideas can get you killed.

Letters At times it's too dangerous to meet face-to-face, or there's news you can only communicate in writing. Here you may post letters from one character to another, and reply to them in the same thread. You may also write to NPC (or PCs) who are abroad or on the warfront.
