Okay, this is my first Teen Titans story. I usally write Avatar stories, so don't yell. This story is a Tradgedy, and mostly a flashback story, so here you go.

Prologue:

It was never supposed to end like this. Fate was cruel to her. The fact of the matter was, that she never stood a chance.

She was to weak, to fragile, and to young. She was to naïve,and foolish, and yet she could look right through your soul, and she was perhaps, the most kind, and caring person he had ever met.

There was somthing about her smile, and the sad and far off look in her eyes when she was depressed. And how her eyes shone when she was happy.

One thing always puzzled him though, why did fate choose her? What did it see in her? Whatever it found in her, it was to late, she was already gone, and the end of the world was almost here.

He had lost all his friends, and it was only him left. As his life slowly slipped away, he let his mind dwell on the memories of his past, and of his friends, but mostly of her.

A/N: Okay, this story is not about Raven, but it does have the Teen Titans in it. The girl I was talking about is my own chacter, and the boy is Robin. Also, is a bit too abstract? Pleaz Review!!!!

Thanx, abstract means overly dramatic. Okay, here's chapter 1.

Chapter 1: A New Life

Nina spent most of her time practicing her power, air. She had lived on a large farm, with many animals. One regular day, a 15 year old Nina, was outside doing her chores.

"Nothing intresting happens anymore," she said stroking her horse's nose. She was lugging around one of the feed buckets, when, she smelt, and saw smoke rising from her house.

She dropped her buckets, and ran straight home. She could hear her three year old brother screaming her name. She searched for her family desperatly, but she could find no one anywhere.

She cried out of frustation, anger, and sadness. Somthing, suddenly, out of nowhere hit her on the back of the head. Recovering from the schock of being hit, she came to her senses, and ran into the woods behind her house.

She ran farther, and farther into the woods. She knew she would evunatly find a road that would road that would lead to Jump City. She could hear footsteps behind her, which only made her run faster.

Then the sound of footsteps stopped, but Nina only kept runnnig faster. Her lungs felt like they were on fire, and her legs felt like jelly. She finnaly reached Titans Tower.

She had no idea what made her come there, but somthing in her head told her 'Go to Titans Tower, they can help you.' So she listened to whatever possesed her to this place.

She finally fell down at the foot of the tower. She knocked, praying that someone would answer. Before she fell unconcious, she felt the door open.........

I'm sorry if it has alot of spelling mistakes, I was in a hurrey. So yeah.

Chapter 2: Beginning of the End

Inside the tower, it was quiet. Robin was in his room, looking at the past case files. He decided to go down to the living room (I don't know what's it really called.). Everyone else was already there.

Beastboy, and Cyborg were playing the game station. Raven was sitting on the couch, and reading a book. And Starfire was....well....what he thought to be was cooking. "Oh, hello friend Robin!" she said cheerfully. "Hi Star." he replied.

"Dude, where have you been?" Beastboy asked. "I was in my room," Robin answered in an annoyed tone. "Sorry," he mumbled under his breath. Then, they heard knocking on the door.

"I wonder who that could be?" asked Cyborg. "Probaly just fans," said Raven, putting her book down. Robin walked over to the door, and opened it. "Hey guys, come look at this," he said motioning his team over.

"Probaly just crazed fangirls." said Beastboy to Cyborg. When they arrived at the door, they were schocked to see a girl laying unconscious on their doorstep. "What do we do with her?" asked Raven.

The girl stirred, and her eyelids fluttered open. "Hi," Robin said offering her a hand up. She accepted it and once she got to her feet, she said, "I'm Nina."

"Are you okay?" asked Robin. "Actually no, my house was burnt down, and I think my parents were killed, but I don't know by who. I thought if I came here, whoever killed my parents, wouldn't come and try to kill me," she said. "Oh Robin, might she stay here with us to be procteced?" asked Starfire.

"I don't see any harm in it," replied Robin. Nina smiled, "Thanks, oh, and can I use your shower......"

Yeah, she is like Terra. And Terra will come in later on, and..... well, you'll find out!! Here's chapter 3.

Chapter 3: An Uncomftorable Situation

"Hi," said Nina once she got out of the shower. Everyone was in the living room. She looked like a new person. Her once knotted chocolate brown hair, was now brushed, and curly.

"Oh, hi," responed Robin a bit taken back by her apperence. "Come friend Nina, and sit with us, and watch the TV," Starfire said happiely. She walked over to the couch and plopped down right by Robin.

"Hey, I got a movie from the movie store, it's supposed to be really cool, want to watch it?" asked Beastboy. Everyone aggred, and Nina stood up, "I'll get the sodas, and popcorn."

"Nina, you don't have to, your the guest," said Robin. "I want to do somthing to help out, the least I can do is get some sodas and popcorn," she said walking to the small refrigator.

She was bringing the sodas back when she tripped over somting, and the sodas flew into the air. The a gust of wind sen them back into Nina's hands.

"Wow! How did you do that?" asked Beastboy amazed. "Do what? Did I make somthing blow up? If I did, I can fix it, or clean it up," she said looking around the large room.

"No, you didn't blow up anything. I mean how the sodas came back to you," said Beastboy. Nina bit her lower lip, and looked around the amazed faces, trying to decied what to say.....

Here's chapter 4!!!!

Chapter 4: The look of Love

"I...Um...You see..." Nina managed to stutter, because her throat was tight with worry. "Nina, if you have powers, you can tell us, it's not going to make us mad," said Robin.

"It's not that," she said quietly. "What did you say?" asked Robin. "Nothing, okay look, I have a power, and it's air. There, I said it, are you happy now?" she said harshly. Then, there was an uncomftorable silence.

"Cool, then you have powers like Terra's, only yours is air," Beastboy chimned in. "Who's Terra?" asked Nina. Before Beastboy could reply, Raven cut in and said, "Never Mind."

"Look guys, I'm getting kinda tierd, I don't mean to bother you, but can one of you show me to my room?" she asked. "I'll show you, come on," Robin said leading Nina to one of the empty rooms. Once thet came to a room, Robin said,"Here it is. My room is just down the hall."

Nina looked around her room, and then turned back to Robin. "Ah Robin, you can go now," she said. "Oh, sorry," he said looking at Nina, but still he didn't leave. She cleared her throat, waithing for Robin to take a hint.

Finally, he realized he was still there, and blushed. She giggled. "Sorry Nina," he said embarssed. "That's okay," she replied. He walked back to the living room.

"So Robin," said Cyborg who was about to crack up laughing. "So Robin, what?" asked Robin. "You like her, don't you?" asked Cyborg. "No," he said a little to quickly. Cyborg and Beastboy cracked up laughing.

"Com on Robin, it's obvious that you like her," said Raven. "No I don't," he said sternly. "Yeah right," said Beastboy between laughs. "All Right," Robin said admitting defeat, "I'll admit it, I like her."

Little did he know, Nina was listening to every word Robin had said, through a little crack in the door.....

Chapter 5: Enemies Revealed

Nina smiled when she heard what Robin said. "He likes me," she said quietly. She closed the door, and walked over to her bed. once, she lay down, she pulled the covers over her head, and fell asleep.

"Master, I do not understand, she is the who decieds the fate of the world? She is a mere teenage girl, with only air bending skills. And she is to defeat you?" asked a man around his twentys.

"Patience Draik. Do you not trust me? If she learns the skills that she posses, she will be very dangrous." said a dark voice. Draik began strapping on his weapons.

He rurned to leave, but before he did, his master said, "Do not kill her, frighten her." Draik nodded, and left.

When Nina woke up, it was still dark outside. She tried to go back to sleep, but she couldn't, so she dragged herself off the large bed. When she walked past one of the mirrors in her room, she was not prepared for what she saw.

Instead of her glossy chocolate-brown hair, it was now a very light brown, almost blonde, with golden- blue streaks. She was told about this when she was younger, but she never thought it would happen.

It was done, the future was set in stone. All there was to do, was wait for the end. Her new power would send her friends to their deaths.

I'm sorry I didn't post a chapter yesterday, I had a basketball game. And for all you Terra fans, don't worry Terra coming in the story in a few chapters, just give me time. Here's chapter 6.

Chapter 6: Crashing Down

Nina backed up until she was by the bed. Her knees buckled underneath her, and she fell on the bed. Her sight became blurred with tears. She could hear knocking outside the door.

"Nina, you awake?" came a familiar voice. It was Robin. She quickly dried her tears, and answered, "Yeah, I'm awake."

"Okay, you can come down whenever you want," Robin said. There was silence for a few minuets, then Robin asked, "Nina, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be right down in a few minuets," she called to Robin. After a few moments of calming herself, she walked down to where the team was sitting. Robin was the first one to talk, "Ah, Nina, we were talking about something, and we decieded that your welcome to join the team."

"Um, I'm not sure, I'll think about it though," she said. "Nina, you sure your okay, you've been acting kinda strange?" Robin asked. "Yes, I'm okay," she replied.

"Hey Nina, how come your hairs like that?" asked Cyborg. Nina was struck silent by that. "It's not important," she said shortly, in the tone that meant she didn't want to discuss it.

"Hey Nina, Bob's Pizza Palace is having it's early morning pizza buffet, want to come with us?" asked Beastboy. "Sure," she said, her tone lightened. "Well then, come on, let's go," said Cyborg.

Chapter 7: Fire and Tears

Draik sat lightly on his toes, and watched the small group of heroes. They had been talking for over a hour. He was extremely tempted to just rush forward, clobber Nina upside the head, and be done with it.

"How am I going to fight her, and keep her bratty little friends out of the way?" he asked himself quietly. Just then, he rembered something. He drew in an impatient breath, and said under his breath, "Just wait a few more minuets."

"I'm so full, I think I'm about to explode," said Beastboy, leaning back in one of the chairs. "I agree completly," said Nina. "For such a little girl, you sure can eat alot," said Cyborg, smiling at Nina.

'Maybe I should join, I'm already so close to...' she couldn't finish her thought before a fire ball hit the building beside them. "Wow! What was that?" asked Cyborg.

"Do you think it is..." said Starfire, but Robin finished her sentence. "Slade?" "Wrong answer, but here's your consultation prize," A man said coming from behind a street cornor , who shot another fireball in the teams direction.

Then, he said a chant(sorry I can't think of one, use your imagination), that incased Robin, Raven, Beastboy, Cyborg, and Starfire, in a sheild, leaving Nina outside, with Draik.

She rushed over to her friends, and began beating on the sheild. "You can try all you want, but your not going to break it," the man's voice, once again sounded behind her.

Her anger rose, and she rushed at him. He shot a stream of jet flame at her, but she did a backward flip in the air, and landed gracefully on her feet, competly missing the flame.

Now it was her move. She produced a fast moving current of air, and threw it at him. He dodged the current, and rushed forward at her, and shot a gust of pure heat right into her face.

She let out a screech of pain, and backed away from him, despertally fubbing at her red face. She tried to blockmore punches he threw at her, but she was losing.

"Come on Nina! You can do it!" yelled Robin. He, and the rest of the team was despertally trying to get out, but it was no use. This time she tried a different approach. She did a running kick(I don't know if that's right), but at the last minuete, Draik grabbed her ankels, and yanked downwards.

She landed on her back with a whoof, as the air was knocked out of her. She scrambled to her feet, and backed away, trying to regain her breath, but her lungs were tight from the schock. She stumbled backwards, then fell over. Her breath came in short gasps.

"Nina! Come on, please get up," Robin shouted at first, then his voice dropped down to a whisper. Once the sheild dropped, Robin imediatly ran over to Nina. "Please be okay," he thought.
