Never really played fantasy basketball, might have been in a league or two but didn't really bother with it.. more into football and baseball.. However I got in a 10 person league and just got back from the draft, how does my team look?

PG - Aaron Brooks
SG - Jason Richardson
SF - LeBron James
PF - Josh Smith
C - Al Horford
G - Jrue Holiday
F - Gerald Wallace
UTIL - Nene Hilario
UTIL - LaMarcus Aldridge
UTIL - Marcus Thonton
BN - Corey Maggette
BN - Andris Bierdrins
BN - Anthony Morrow

It is a 10 person, head to head league

Scoring is:
1 point per point scored
1 point per steal
1 point per rebound
1 point per field goal made
1 point per free throw made
1 point per block
1 point per assist
-1 point per turnover
-1 point per field goal attempted
-1 point per free throw attempted

Tho he said he might change the scoring a bit regarding the -1 point per FGA and FTA

Looks alright, but I'd kind of have to see the other 9 lineups heh.

Appears pretty solid right now

Only undefeated team (4-0), and the combined record of the 4 people I have beat is 9-7.. but take out my 4 wins and they comes to 9-3 against other competition.. Just beat the only other undefeated team this past week

Have outscored the 2nd place team, who I just beat, by 94 total points (3457-3363) and also beat the 4th and 5th place teams aswell

Averaging 691.4 points per week (first matchup was 2 weeks)

League average for the other 9 teams is 565.2

Few minor changes: Dropped Brooks (due to injury), Holiday (due to being terrible the first week or two and I grew impatient), also dropepd Thornton, Maggette, Bierdrins, and Morrow

Have added Jose Calderon, Kris Humphries, Wilson Chandler, Nicolas Batum, Andrei Kirilenko, and DJ Augustin

You are allowed 7 max moves per week, so I have liked having a player or two I can drop and add another player with a few games in a row coming up.. For instance did this with Humphries this weekend, picked him up on Friday for 2 games on Saturday and Sunday..

I will probably be adding Brooks back soon, he should be back in a week or so, and my next 2 teams I face have a combined record of 1-7.. So won't need the extra playing time, so adding Brooks without him playing for a week or two wont hurt me too badly

That's a good strategy to beat other teams to him.

I did just drop Batum and picked up, originally Troy Murphy, then saw that Humphries is going to continue to start for the Nets, so picked up Hakim Warrick.. Apparently he is going to be the starting SF for the Suns now

Depending on how Calderon does, he has been tearing it up the past 2 weeks, will determine if I drop Kirlienko to pick up Brooks, or Calderon

I have 6 eligible SF and 7 eligible PF, I'd like to keep Kirlienko but with only 2 eligible SG and 2 PG, I might have to drop him

You're definitely in good shape if Kirilenko is the worst guy on your squad.

My team now consists of:

DJ Augustin
Jason Richardson
Andrei Kirilenko
Nene Hiliario
Al Horford
Nick Young
Kris Humphries
Josh Smith
LaMarcus Aldridge
Jose Calerdon
LeBron James
Gerald Wallace
Wilson Chandler

Not really too many great players on the FA list, if I do see someone I'm interested in will probably drop Richardson or Young

I am 9-0, just beat the 2nd best team in the league for the second time (they are now 7-2) and am dismantling the 4th best team in the league by a score of 250-106 right now, with 10 players playing tonight

I will be shocked if I lose a game

Ended up going 17-1, then lost by 5 points (1893-1888) in the finals of the championship..

Only about 3 people kept up with their team all season. I don't really view this as a loss because the league was setup to go the entire season. So a good portion of my team saw reduced minutes in the championship week, and LeBron, Aldridge, and Wallace all didn't play the final day. If they play, I win by about 60 or 70 points

Plus there was unlimited add/drops for the playoffs, and the guy I played had 23 more games played than I did, since he kept dropping and adding people

So, all in all, I won the league (in my eyes)
