As a mizzou fan i will say it was hard to see the tigers lose by 33 at KU but i will give the Jayhawks props. they are the most dangerous team in america no doubt about that and i think they can and will win the big 12 regular season crown. i think they beat Texas next week in austin. What do u guys think

That was certainly an impressive win. I mean, the opponent wasn't much because of the loss of the coach, but the margin was a statement. Texas got beat by 21 by a team that also lost its coach. A lot of times these things come down to who is hot at the right time, and Kansas is turning it on right now. Texas had their slump and got on its roll. Let's see how they respond to this loss, if it is a trend or a wake up call. Tournament time for the Big XII is starting to look good.

Nice topic. I said KU was the 2nd best team in the Big12 about two weeks ago on here and turned heads. The Jayhawks are a dangerous team but I dont think they matchup well vs Texas. I will be in attendance for this game next Saturday already cant wait. We generally are real tough to beat in the drum...it took an insanely on fire Tenn team to snap our home win streak, and we were without Buckman as well as Gibson for most of the game. I think it'll be very close but Texas prevails.

i think texas takes care of bidness at home. the loss to osu should be a bigtime wake up call. kansas is good, but the youth will hurt them playing in austin, IMO. should be a good game though.

Kansas. They look really dangerous with Chalmers and Rush both averaging double figures in points. I would hate to play this team in the tourney.

i think that kansas has been a little unconsistant, i mean after they destroyed my cats i thought they were on the uprise and on their way, but then they stumbled

BUT, they have recently took off, i really do honestly like their chances of taking the conference

Texas on the other hand has been silent here of late, and i believe they could go into that big 12 tourney and show off their guns, and as guru pointed out i dont see KU matching up well with the boys of tex

While you can;' ingnore the fact the Kansas has been playing well latley, you also can't ignore the fact that Texas is ranked in the top 10, and playing even better. Kansas will get in the tournament, maybe shock someone, and then get out. I just can't see the Jayhawks catching Texas this deep into the season.

Kansas has been on a roll. I think Texas is the better team but they are so up and down that they could lose to anyone. ex. OSU

Welcome, now Boomer Sooner this!

Texas is up and down? We lost to Duke and Tenn both top 10 teams. Our only bad loss was to OSU.

I'd love to see how you describe your Sooners season...or do we look the other way about the conference losses to Nebraska, Missouri and Colorado?

As much as it pained me to do so, I voted for Texas. And that isn't necessarily a knock on KU. They are a very good team but I think Texas has established themselves as the best in the conference, and I think they show it Saturday. But Kansas is very dangerous... maybe the best "second best" team.

Just to pick nits about that one-point win. We were up by four with two seconds left and they made a ridiculous meaningless 3 at the buzzer that shouldn't have counted anyway. For some reason we always play crappy in Manhatten.
