Title: US Flag Bearer at Opening Ceremonies

So tomorrow night during the Olympic Opening Ceremonies, Lopez Lomong will be carrying the flag of the USA.
What's cool about this is that he actually went to my old school, Northern Arizona University. I didn't know him or anything, but it's still pretty cool considering NAU's a fairly small school and all, and I'm sure the people I knew on our track team knew this guy.

Am I the only one who is going to pass on watching the opening ceremony? I hate that crap for some reason. It's just going to be a bunch of people spinning around with flags in a "celebrate world diversity" clusterf*ck of retardedry. I highly doubt that I'll miss anything.

The opening ceremonies are kinda long and borring, no doubt. But it is a good way to learn about a lot of the athletes that the media wants you to fall in love with over the next couple weeks. And not just US athletes either, but people from every country.
Also, I think it's pretty funny when you get a huge country like the US that enters the stadium, then the next is some tiny little island country with like 2 athletes.
