GENERAL CHARACTER ADOPTION GUIDELINES

1. You must follow all rules, regulations, and requests of the character's owner if you are selected to play their character. Failure to comply will result (if they so choose) in the character's removal from your possession.

2. You may not claim anyone else's character as your own. When adopting, you borrow characters to play; you don't actually own the character unless the owner specifies otherwise.

3. If a character officially changes ownership, it can never be reclaimed by the creator/previous owner. However, the original creator must always be acknowledged.

4. Any character may be put up for adoption on Phantasma at any time. Tryouts may be held, or it can simply be given to the first person who's interested.

CHARACTER DESIGN GUIDELINES

1.If you choose to hand out your designs, you cannot reclaim them unless their user resigns from the site, is banned, or gives them back to you. However, you cannot include the personality that they created as part of the design.

2. Unless otherwise specified, when you claim a design you are allowed to give that character whatever name, gender, personality etc. that you want.

3. You must always give the creator of the design credit for the design alone (not for the entire character) unless otherwise specified.

4. Catahoula/Joker and the site Phantasma, as well as its staff, hold NO CLAIM to any characters created by Phantasma members, nor are they responsible for any infringement of copyrights or rules on the parts of the creators.
