Which pack should open first?

Up to you guys, of course, since it's you who will be role playing there...wherever "there" is! Before you make your decision, though, there are a couple things I should probably point out. First of all, you can find out more about all five kingdoms (okay, so they're not all technically kingdoms, but whatever) here.

Secondly, you should know what I think will be the procedure for whatever pack does ultimately open. Existing characters will be put up for adoption, unless their players return from the old site. Once we have at least some kind of leadership, new members will start joining. (Or you can create a character as an "already existing" member of the pack, with alpha permission.) Then, once we have a good few active characters in that pack (not too many, say ten or so), we'll open another pack and do it all over again.

What else? Oh, for anyone in favor of opening more than one pack at once, just keep in mind the level of work that will be involved in getting just one pack active. If you consider this and decide that it will still work, by all means vote and express your opinions.

And lastly, I would personally advise not opening the Darian first, for...plot reasons. ;D

OHKAY I think you know how I feel about this one. xD I vote Emeralia [[we can steal Miskie back from DW since it's closed now, right?]], because it's a traditional wolf roleplay setting -- you know? Very straightforward like it would be on a Neopets board, which would make it easier for people's characters to fit into it.

Also, the Rau'shen, maybe at the same time or just once we get the ball rolling in Emeralia, because they definitely have the most interesting traditions and such, and also because ALL MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS ARE IN THE RAU'SHEN laksdngkjlsadngtYEAH. :]

They opened a new site, I think. XD No such luck. But we might be able to coerce her into coming back if we can find a good Vulcan or at least some betas to do the donkey work.

I agree with you, actually. I voted Rau'shen because of the whole Misk thing (and all the ranks and stuff are hers too, although the actual pack isn't), but Emeralia would definitely be another good option.

Well no in the POLL I voted Rau'shen. xD Just because I slaved my butt off doing those tables etc. I agree with you, Misk basically defined the Emeralia. I'd feel bad ripping her tables and info threads and such, 'cause she did work pretty hard even if she got kinda inactive at the end of the site's life.

Yeah, I think if she doesn't show up again we'll have to remake the tables and the rank system (to some extent, it was fairly traditional). We'll also have to rename the Alphess. D8

I voted for the more than one should be opened, and it asked me to specify. So I will. =D! Yay!

I think one or two should be opened so that members can have more than one option for picking which pack to join or at least start out in. Opening them all at once might be a bit too much until more members join, but I think 2 or 3 should be opened to start out with so that people don't -have- to pick one they may not be interested in. (: It gives members more options, and adds some variety.

As for which ones that would be picked, I don't really have a preference. I really like the island pack, so, that one maybe? As for the other ones, whichever ones get the most votes in the poll? That way you pick the packs that the most people want, so mostly everyone is happy.

Hmm, hmm, those are certainly some very valid points. Maybe Rau'shen and Zaryjeth? After all, the Zaryjeth is fairly traditional, and at least since Catahoula (my character) runs that pack we can be sure of some kind of activity.

Surely the rest of the site has some opinions on this?!? XD

Haaah, I can get Aguila or Shiri on running the Rau'shen and keeping it active RP-wise. It'd be fairly like either of them to sorta take over in Shikai's... absence? We'd need a reason.

Out of character too I could be the one who goes and comments on the profiles with the classic "JOIN THE RAU'SHEN WE ROCK YOUR SOCKS YEAH MMHMM THA'S RIGHT." xD 'cause you know somebody's gotta do it.

Okay, here's the deal. I emailed Shikai and, well...not coming back. =( But we're free to use all the ranks, the character Shikai, etc.

That sounds great. XD Both ideas. I tell you what, let's give one of them some high-ranking position so they can do everything, and then we can put Shikai and Indaya up for adoption. How does that sound? I think we need packs up soon, because our new members seem to be just filtering through.

Well Shiri's the captain of the guard and Aguila's the shaman [which in Rau'shenville is pretty important as I recall.], so between the two of them I should be able to cover until we get a real alpha.
