» Inactive Characters

Okay, so I've been keeping up with who's been active and who hasn't been, sort of. Basically, anyone who hasn't been active in a month or more have been moved under "pending," and their applications will be moved to "Those We Lost." This was basically so I could justify removing their claims from the face claim.

I kind of wanted to do something similar to other sites I've seen, where I never delete a character so that people can come back -- but I don't want all these Pendings mucking up the character list... So I was thinking of deleting them after they've spent a month or more pending (so, one month from now I'd go through and make the cuts).

Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

This was Siki's suggestion, I'm just posting it to make sure it's seen.

You can make a new group for them - I call them 'Lost' on my forum - and then make the group not show up on the member list - it's accessable from the Admin CP. It won't give you a realistic member count (because of how many are not active) but it'll keep them off the member list.

Thanks to the both of you lovelies! <3 Now, I'll just put inactive members under "Lost Ones" and they'll disappear from the member list. I should add a rule somewhere talking about this.
