The trees stretch off endlessly in either direction, and the pathways are filled with mists. It is perpetually dawn, and the crickets and frogs make their chorus here. It's too easy to get lost.

The sands appear to be ground crystal, and they are beguilingly soft to the touch, but be careful: they cut, and are hard to remove from the skin.

Is was, they say, a prosperous city once. Nobody knows what happened, but only fools live out here nowadays. The stones are mossy and the buildings have collapsed in on themselves, and the mist is everywhere. Those that dare enter often run, screaming, right back out, telling tales of gigantic, reptilian forms in the folds of the mist.
