with most of this level situated until the black lake, the temperature stays rather cool down here. its quite nice in the summer but some have jokingly said that it mocks them during winter as it adds to the biting cold.

after walking through those imposing doors, the whole of hogwarts opens up to the viewer through this large panoramic hall. and bonus! the great hall, a.k.a food, is located up the hall and to your right.

one will quickly become aquainted with this floor as mcgonagall's office and the hospital wing are on this floor. it has nothing to do with the fact that several classrooms are on this floor, nope.

dozens of bathroom litter the school but the sceond floor bathrooms seem to be most frequented due to their localized nature.

most of the schools towers take on a similar round shape but each has it's own unique characteristics. thw owlery, for instance, is completely open. though it doesn't do much for the foul smell that greets visitors.

doxies, centaurs, merpeople, oh my! the grounds of hogwarts expands to nearly five miles in every direction from hogwarts, complete with scenic lake and forbidden forest that nobody seems to listen to the 'forbidden' part.
