when you register, sign up with the character you wish to play's full name in lower case. which means first, middle and last with no capital letters. just look at the other members of the site's usernames if you don't understand. also, you must post in the canon list.
the lion's roar is a literate/advanced roleplaying site, a crossover of harry potter and the chronicles of narnia. we currently only accept harry potter canons (be fair, look how many there are!), but original narnians are allowed. you must reserve your character in the canon list before posting an application.

subplot five   rose weasley ; ronald weasley
The day Rose Weasley told her father that she hadn’t made Gryffindor, he was – needless to say – disappointed, though he didn’t show it he had expected at least one of his children to make Gryffindor. Alas, none of them did, and he wasn’t exactly jumping for joy. Now Rose wasn’t the type of person that liked to let people down, and now that all of her cousin’s are making Gryffindor she noticed that her father was looking more embarrassed, if not depressed, by the day. So Rose decided that she would cheer him up no matter what happened. At first she just tried small things, gifts and the like, but none of it seemed to work and no matter how hard she tried she felt somewhat neglected and like she wasn’t wanted. The harder she tried, the more depressed everybody ended up.
That’s when it hit her, the young Hufflepuff had figured it out. The only way to cheer up her father was to become a Gryffindor herself! She set out immediately, and headed straight to the Headmistresses office. She waited out the front for at least two hours before Professor McGonagall came. She requested that she be re-sorted as soon as the old lady was in sight. The obvious and most immediate answer was ‘No’. And no matter how many times she asked over the next week to try on the hat again, the reply was always the same. Even when Rose went as far as actually getting down on her knees.
That just embarrassed the Professor.
… And Rose.
The weeks flew by and it was one week till the summer, Rose was very disappointed. And she was certain that her father would be also. But Rose did not give up that easily. The next day, Rose approached her Headmistresses for what she saw as the last time. She explained the whole situation with a grim expression on her face, and just as she was about to leave Professor McGonagall called her back and said that she would allow Rose to try the hat on again. The Hufflepuff was ecstatic, her father would definitely be happy this summer. But everything went wrong when the hat was placed upon the student’s head for a second time and it yelled out “SLYTHERIN!”.
