THE LION’S ROAR a moderate-advanced harry potter all-era’s-collide cross the chronicles of narnia
1977
"Hey, Prongs! Come over here! Look at this thing!"
Sirius called out to his best friend James as he bended over something on the shore of the Black Lake.
"What is it, Padfoot?" asked James as he bounded over to Sirius, moving the way a stag moves.
"I... dunno."
The 'thing' that Sirius had discovered was a locket of solid gold, that glinted in the sunlight. It's chain was half in the water that was ever so quiet and peaceful.
James held the locket up to the light. It was in the shape of an oval, of course, but the difference was that there was a carving on the locket that was decorated with jewels. The locket was very small, hardly bigger than a chicken's egg, but the carving was very ornate and detailed. It was of a large lion on its hind legs, and it's mouth was open in a large roar. Topaz’s sparkled in the lion's mane and paws and its eye was replaced by a tiny sapphire.
James flipped it over. The backside of the locket was decorated with an equally beautiful and ornate carving, this time in the shape of a tree. The leaves were decorated with emeralds, and large rubies made the fruits.
For a second, James and Sirius stared at the locket in awe. Then...
"Hey, Potter! What's that you got?"
It was Severus Snape. Looking murderous, he stepped forward, and caught sight of the locket before James and Sirius were able to hide it.
"Give me that! Accio Locket!"
James clutched the locket tighter in his hand as it threatened to slip away. "Snivellus, I think this locket is too valuable to get your greasy hair all over it. Stay away if you know what's better for you."
In the struggle that followed, Sirius accidentally opened the locket. Snape, James, and Sirius stared at the inside of it. There was no portrait of anyone, no item concealed inside, no nothing, just a strange swirl of colors. It slowly rose out of the locket until eventually it looked like a tornado of colors which moved through the entire castle, sucking every student of Hogwarts into its depths, and sank back into the locket. The locket closed with a 'click', and the grounds of Hogwarts, for once, were calm and quiet.

Harry sunk down onto his bed in the dormitories of Gryffindor Common Room. Boy, was he tired! Even thinking of the crowds running at him, celebrating the defeat of Voldemort made him tired. Harry just felt like sinking further and further into the sheets of his bed. He collapsed onto his pillow, only to make his head hit something hard.
"Oww!"
Harry cursed and shot up again. He looked at his pillow again, and discovered a ring that he had not noticed before. Harry picked it up. The ring was gold - solid gold, and decorated with four very small gems that looked like one multicoloured gem from far away. The gems were red, blue, yellow, and green - a combination which tingled Harry's spine. Did this possibly have something to do with the four houses of Hogwarts? Yet Harry had a feeling that this possibly could not be it. This ring had an aura that came from far, far away, an aura that was both strange and yet familiar.
Harry strangely felt attracted to this ring. Deep inside he knew he shouldn't do it, and he regretted it sorely afterward, but Harry put on the ring. Marvolo's cursed ring was completely driven out of his mind. He was only thinking of the houses of Hogwarts and jewels. But scarcely seconds after Harry had slipped on the ring, a strange thing happened. Harry started to glow yellow, and he got a funny feeling in his guts. Then, he had disappeared off the edges of the earth.
He was not the only one. All over Hogwarts, people were just disappearing - glowing for two seconds and then vanishing. The whole crowd cheering for Harry in the Great Hall glowed and vanished at the exact time. The people who had evacuated from the Battle of Hogwarts were vanishing too. All adults just stared in surprise. Somebody screamed.

"LILY!"
James Potter yelled to the stairs to the girls' dormitories.
"Lily Potter! Come down here NOW!!!"
No answer.
"What's the matter?"
Rose Weasly rushed down the stairs instead. "James, what's wrong?"
"Tell Lily to give me my notebook! AT ONCE!"
"Lils' got your diary?"
"It is NOT my diary! And she stole it!"
"I do think she told me once that she found a diary on the floor but-"
"Go to her NOW!"
"Oh, you're nice, you know, James. Treating your cousin as if you'd treat a slave..." Rose muttered as she went back up the stairs again. "I wonder what's in that diary anyway?"
James, huffing and puffing, turned back again. He noticed several people were staring at him weirdly. James shook his head and looked away.
Back in his dormitory, James sighed and relaxed on his four-poster bed. His sister had his diary, I beg his pardon, notebook - he was sure of it. And if whatever was in it leaked out, James Sirius Potter would be a laughingstock and a punchbag until he died. He would not let that happen.
James closed his eyes and sunk into darkness...
"James!"
James shot up instantly. "Watzeheck?"
"James, I've got your diary."
James jumped out of his bed and opened the door. Lily and Rose were standing at the door, and Lily was holding James's diary.
"Sorry James. I didn't know this was so important to you." Lily said softly. Whether she was making fun of him or being sincere James could not tell.
James grabbed the diary back from Lily and hugged it. "You... you didn't read it did you?"
"Of course I didn't read it Jimmy. I don't go around invading people's privacies like that."
James breathed a sigh of relief and bounded back into the dorms. As the door closed, James opened his diary. It didn't seem that anything had happened to it. It was just the way it had been yesterday, when he had last opened it.
Wait a minute. As James opened it something fell onto his lap - something hard and cold and heavy and sparkly. James picked it up. It seemed to be a bracelet, with leaves of solid gold and four large jewels (red, blue, green, yellow) threaded onto a thread of gold. James stared at it. He could have stared at it for hours and hours, but James shook his head. Instead he was going to try it on. He shouldn't have.
James slipped the bracelet onto his wrist. Then, at that time, James felt a strange sensation. He felt like he was going to throw up. Then he felt a warm feeling in his body. His body just heated up slowly until he was boiling hot all over from the tips of his hairs to the ends of his toes. But James didn't scream or even make a sound. He didn't want to. It was kind of pleasant.
And then he just disappeared, without any sound, warning, or sign, bringing hundreds of students along with him.
----------------------------------------------------
Hogwarts students and graduates from three generations suddenly and mysteriously disappeared around the same time of day and month. The difference was the time of year. It had been in October that the notorious Padfoot and Prongs had caused the disappearance of their fellow students and themselves. Just a few weeks before the summer holidays that Harry had found the ring on his pillow. And somewhere in December that James had finally reprieved his stolen diary from Rose Weasley and Lily Potter.
But that's not the end of the story. Far, far away, far from Hogwarts or Britain or any country or continent on Earth at that, in a country called Narnia, hundreds of bemused people suddenly appeared. But they didn't just appear as if they had apparated from here to there at the same time, nor had they appeared in one huge crowd. Some people arrived in Narnia days after the first ones to arrive had, and while some appeared in the woods in Narnia, others appeared on some of the islands around Narnia, others found themselves in Archenland or even Calormen.
The royalties of Narnia also had their own problems. It had been four years since their coronation, but the Pevensies were still young and perhaps a bit confused at being actual Kings and Queens. King Peter, seventeen this year, might have found true love at last. Princess Arim from a country called Sandao to the South and her brothers were staying here, evacuating from a war between their own homeland and Calormen. Queen Susan, just 16, has received her first proposal from a certain Prince Minrud of Potis, who is here for a trade negotiation between his country (an island nation east of Archenland) and Narnia. King Edmund, now a 13-year-old teenager, struggles with feelings about the relationships of his elder siblings, and last but not least, Queen Lucy, a 12-year-old girl experiencing growing up for the first time, finds herself developing feelings for none other than her sister's suitor!
Will the meeting of people from the three eras damage space and time, and prevent some people from even coming into existence? Will they ever be able to come back to their own times? What about Peter's romance and Susan's dilemma? Edmund's growing curiosity about life and love and Lucy's tween crush?
One thing is sure - everything will change at The Lion's Roar.
