wub.gif Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been absent for the past several months, but my health was on the decline and by the time I got better, I had to help my husband with his Algebra! dry.gif He passed -- thank God!-- but I'm a lousy tutor becasue I hate math and I'm not very good at it. sad.gif The only reason that I tutored him was because I had already passed college Algebra and Trig before, even though afterwards I purposly emptied my brain of all such knowledge after I passed my tests! rolleyes.gif I told him that if helping him do Algebra wasn't proof of my love for him, then I don't know what was! laugh.gif LOL

But I'm feeling better now... new medicine seems to be working! biggrin.gif Yay! So, between that and a blood transfusion, I'm feeling almost normal! (Thanks to all who donate blood! wub.gif The life you saved may have been mine! blink.gif )
But I have sooooo much stuff to catch up on! I have missed all of you, and thought of you all quite often! biggrin.gif I will have to return here shortly and wish everybody whose had a birthday recently to have a great year! wink.gif

Hey Puglove biggrin.gif

It's good to see you back posting here again wub.gif Sorry that you haven't been well. Blood transfusion?! Hope you really are feeling better now.

I'm glad your husband passed his math test! I'me sure you're not a lousy tutor! I have a love/hate thing with maths, I don't like to do it, but it gets my brain zipping when I do (does that make any sense? laugh.gif). I know exactly what you mean about emptying your brain after you've had a test/exam! I used to do that after my exams! laugh.gif

Hi Pug! smile.gif

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Feeling poorly stinks very much. sad.gif

I'm hoping continued good health all around your little world! smile.gif

It's very cool that your hubby smile.gif passed his test too. I dislike math myself. laugh.gif

Take care.

Hope you can have a good healthy spell for awhile!

(best of luck with the Algebra--is Trig next? *shudders*)

Thanks Shell! wub.gif Yeah, a blood transfusion. Anemia is a secondary condition to my main illness. If I every make it to the Chill section, I will explain more...
That is funny though -- math slows my brain down! LOL

Writergirl, Thank you too! wub.gif

Tigers, Thanks also! wub.gif

Hammersmom, thanks wub.gif -- you are right! We feel blessed that he passed his class!

Vivenda, Thanks wub.gif --- I can't tell you how much I hate math. I'm pretty good at the Geometry parts of math, but lousy at the Algebra parts! And I'm crummy at simple arithmatic (+ - x %) ! LOL Those weren't ment to be cuss symbols, but I won't argue if anyone wants to interpret them as such! tongue.gif LOL

Bah, Thank you so much for the prayers! wub.gif They are much needed! Health is a precious thing!
No, he doesn't have to take Trig! He is just getting his Assocciates degree for now, but will work on a Bachelors soon. But he is finished for math, Halelujah! happy.gif

Hi Puglove, it's great to see you back again. Sorry you had such a rough time. I hope those new meds keep doing the trick.

I am deeply impressed over your algebra skills. I suck at all kinds of math from basic arithmetic to algebra. Algebra was the nadir of my mathematical lows. Not a clue what x equals nor the first idea of how to find out. huh.gif As for teaching someone else to do it........ Awesome, is all I can say!

Thanks Hawk! Good to see you too! wub.gif

LOL laugh.gif You are probably the only person in the known universe besides my mother who is impressed with my Math skills! laugh.gif LOL What a boost to my self-esteem you are! happy.gif
I probably helped him more with moral support and just watching him solve problems than actually anything. rolleyes.gif When I did actually help, we would often both do the problem independantly and if we both came up with the same answer we assumed it was correct! If I did do something he didn't understand, then I would explain to him how I got that answer. I'm terrible at Math sad.gif , but I'm good at explaining stuff! biggrin.gif Besides, I give a large portion the credit of his passing the class to God! wub.gif That, and my hubby's hard work! cool.gif

As for what X equals ... "fankly my dear, I don't give a d**n"! LOL laugh.gif
