Hi Sasha. Many retail music and DVD stores offer a repair service that takes about 10 to 15 minutes and cost only a couple of dollars (pounds). I had my Hot Date disc repaired and it works perfectly.

I don't remember where you live but if you're in the States places like Borders, Hastings, Best Buy, etc can help. If you're in the UK I know Borders is there or any good retailer who sells games, movies, or music should be able to help. It's apparently a liquid process that they apply to the damaged area and then polish after it dries. Good luck and I hope this helps. It's a bummer to buy a new one. I was really in a panic. Try and find a Hot Date disc for sale.
