I am currently working on building a list using the Primarchs as Thunderwolf Cavalry.

I will hopefully be updating this fairly often as i complete each of the Primarchs in turn.

They all look really good. I'd leave the wings off, they look to big and abit off. I'd go with more of the normal eagle look for him.

Question/plea for help from all of you (pre) heresy era modellers.

I am looking for appropriate heads for most of the primarchs ( Minus Russ, Khan, Alpharius, Mortarion, Dorn and Corax) and was wondering if the community could lead me to some fitting heads, whether GW or 3rd party does not matter.

I sort of need a decent head for my Corax......just don't like the dred helmet I am using at the moment. Sorry I can't guide you, but i will be watching this post for replies! Stuff looks excellent by the way. And I agree with Fortronus....no wings for Dorn.

That's exactly what I thought Feytor........and I really really like the grilled heads. Ordering friday to make sure my paycheck is depleted by by sunday! might as well be consistent with my poverty!

@Whitewolf: That one on the right looks like it would work very well for Vulkan, and one of the others could definitely work for Perturabo. Thanks!

@ Setanta: Have you thought of using the space wolf head seen here in the second row down on the right side? that is what i think i will be using

loving Dorn and Mortarion. I do agree that the wings are a little strane looking on Dorn though. I love the halo. What is that from?

it is from the Chapterhouse "bigger marines" conversion pack. I ordered it before it was officially out by contacting the guy that runs the company after i heard some rumors about it. All of them came with blood angel type details on them. Sadly(or happily depending on how you look at it) the kit that is out is plainer, and i dont believe that they have a backpack like that anymore
