Well it's certainly become a staple of a lot of fantasy/sci-fi literature to have a map of some sort included, I guess it would fit quite well (along with the list of characters involved?)

On a separate note, in the future I think it would be a great idea for there to be some kind of 'campaign' book of famous periods during both the Crusade and Heresy. Perhaps something similar to the FW: Imperial Armour books, or even the older 'Sabat Crusade' book. A large section on background, written in the form of a narrative concerning the events of the conflict. Diagrams and maps of the battles (there could be a load of the art from the HH: CCG books) could be included, as well as army lists, and campaign rules (again, similar to the FW books). I know FW have done this with the Badab wars, so perhaps it could be a possibility that they go back a little further for some of their future releases?

Since FW opened the doors with past campaigns,I would be very surprised if they did not do a Horus Heresy book.
Probally in a few years when they exhust the model range so they can have all the units you can buy in the book, probally coincide with the final HH books are coming out.
Have a year of Heresy type deal.

I would love to see maps, always cool in Dan's books
The collected visions is pretty much the "Sabbat Worlds Style" book but as they say why rest on your laurels?
Look how cool the IA books were and that was way before the Heresy craze, think of the artwork you guys could put together now it is much more popular, with so many more descripitions for the artists to work off of.

Bottle that Sh$@ and it will be sweeter than Yoo-Hoo wink.gif

Have to agree, the Imperial Armour books are sick.

Anyone remember Index Astartes from White Dwarf, wish they did a few more of them with the new canon in them... On that point, can you still buy the books of the collected articles?

Only of ebay, and Amazon's second-hand books bit, and usually for more than they were originally.

Ah ok. I found a russian site last night which has uploaded all of that old stuff (In English), keeps some of the old layout, not the best format, but still good.
