In your opinion is the current plastic chaos terminator chainfist too chaosy for a traitor legion terminator chainfist that would be seen at the assault on the emperor's palace?

Cheers guys.

The Word Bearers were already wearing the marks of Chaos upon their armour by the time of Calth... so no, I think that most of the traitor Legions will be openly Chaotic by Terra.

Thanks Shroud.

And... chainfists? Heresy era? I've not seen any heresy era art or read any reference to them in the novels.

If Terminator armour was deployed during the Inner Galactic Wars, even if they were early prototypes, then I'd say most definitely that Chainfists would have been in use by the outbreak of the Horus Heresy.
Chainfists are mainly utilised in Boarding Actions and the IGWs had plenty of those.

Are you talking about this one?

I'd say that looks perfectly acceptable for pre-Heresy. IIRC there is a Terminator in the artwork with a chainfist?

That's it.

I've decided to go with the double bladed Chaos Lord version though.

Shroud - have a word and get one of your fellow author mates to throw in a reference somewhere tongue.gif
