you can use the same method with sewing pins or even thin plastic rod

The easiest method would be to use PVA(elmers)glue.
using a pin/pencil tip place a small dot of glue where you want the stud.
Once dry repeat 4 or 5 times and it will be built up enough to look studly

The method I find easiest is to cut thin plastic rod into small discs, use a pin to prick the disc, dip it into a pool of plastic glue (I prefer precision poly) and then place the disc (stud) where you want it. When the glue has hardened then you can file the studs down to the right height.

You can see my attempts at Mk5 here (scroll down).

Where the hell has "spruce" come from of late? Loads of people have started referring to sprue as "spruce"... did I miss an important memo?! rolleyes.gif

Spruce is a kind of tree. Sprue is plastic component frame.

While we're on the subject...

It's turret; not turrent.

...and while I have my editor hat on:

Their tank is there; and they're going to collect it later.
