Since July I have been participating in a Tale Of Many Gamers event at my local GW.

The first month you start with 600pts, for the second month you add 500pts (1100pts), and for the third and final month you add another 400 to make a 1500pts army.

And once a month you can change your army.

For the first month I had:
An Archon with Haywire grenades, Ghostplate armour, Blaster, and Huskblade for 125pts.
Three Mandrakes, with one upgraded to Nightfiend, 55pts
A squad of nine Kabalite warriors, one upgraded to Sybarite armed with a Blast pistol and Venom blade, and another with a Blaster. Plus a Raider with Night shields, Flickerfield and Splinter racks. All for 216pts
Another squad, of ten Wyches, one upgraded to Hekatrix with Venom blade, and another with Hydra Gauntlets. Also in a Raider with Night shields and Flickerfield. 205pts

Army total of 601pts.

The second month is:
An Archon with Haywire grenades, Ghostplate armour, Blaster, and Huskblade for 125pts.
Four Mandrakes, with one upgraded to Nightfiend, 70pts
A squad of nine Kabalite warriors, one upgraded to Sybarite armed with a Blast pistol and Power weapon, and another with a Blaster. Plus a Raider with Night shields, Flickerfield and Splinter racks. All for 221pts
A second squad of Ten Kabalite warriors, Sybarite with Agoniser, Shredder and Dark Lance, 150pts
A squad, of ten Wyches, one upgraded to Hekatrix with Power weapon, and another with Hydra Gauntlets, all armed with Haywire Grenades. Also in a Raider with Night shields and Flickerfield. 230pts
Another squad of ten Wyches, Hekatrix with Blast pistol and Agoniser, Razorflails plus Shardnet And Impaler. 185pts
And a Talos Pain Engine, with extra CCW and TL Liquifier gun, 120pts.

Army Total is 1101pts.

Based on the games I've played with both these lists, I'd like to lose the Mandrakes.
I don't really use them, and when I do they die quickly.

I also plan to add a squad of Reaver Jetbikes, plus a Razorwing Jetfighter.

Problem is I have a shortfall of at least 100pts, and was wondering whether I should add a squad of Hellions or a couple of Beastmasters with Clawed Fiends and a few Khymerae.

What do you think?

I've magnetised the wing cannons and missiles so they are interchangeable. But I coudn't do it with the nose-mounted guns and went with TL Splinter guns.

I have now finished my Reaver jetbikes, with magnetised bike weapons.

This means I can field a 1500pt Dark Eldar army, as seen here:

Of course that's not the entirety of my painted army. This is:

I would really like to see what this 1500pt army of DE does to a PH SM army.
I'm hoping it is more than just give them a good laugh!

A really nice looking army mate, and great colour combinations!

Nice bold colours, and looks like you have done a good job on the bases as well.

You must now have that rather nice feeling, that many never have, of having a completed army! biggrin.gif

Thank you for the reply Pacific.
It would be a nice feeling to have, that finished army glow, but I have quite a few models left to paint as well as a few to build then paint. And I'm also thinking of doing an Allied Detachment of Eldar for my Dark Eldar army.

Hmmm. Not quite as done as I'd like! wink.gif

A few more models to add to my army.

First up is my two new Beastmasters.

And I now have the first of my Court Of The Archon.

And then there's this model, which I could use either as a counts-as Lelith Hesperax or a counts-as Lhamaen.
