Oooo! I really like the fact that you've drilled out the gun barrels and the holes in the exhaust pipes. I think he looks fantastic, Gagoc. Keep up the good work! [/back to lurking]

Actually it's the paint effect I'm talking about.
It's a variation on the WD article on using washes on the Hellhound's flamer.

I know I've been quiet on the modelling and painting front, but I haven't been doing nothing painting & modelling wise. Oh no!

Here's a Spartan update.

I got some Forge World Reinforced Land Armour, which is now part of the spartan. I've stuck the hull together (finally!).
I finally tracked down a Sentinel Heavy Flamer, well more-like found the bag that was holding my spare two, and built a pintle-mounted one for the Spartan. I've also built a p-m HB as well.

I've also done a removable Dozerblade!

Ran out of room for pics, so....

I assembled five Rhino hulls recently.
Two for these:




And two for use with these:


I also picked up a Predator Turret sprue, which I'll convert to a PH Baal!

The fifth hull is for the Repressor kit I got at GD.

nice stuff and good to see the Spartan make a return, have you given any more thought to the predator/apc you mentioned in the Q&A section?

I did do that DG Predator without the sponsons. I wonder if that will do?

Meanwhile....
Here's a new model I've painted, Reshef my PH Emperor's Children Predator.








I've used pastel artist chalks and the Black Soot weathering powder from FW to 'dirty it up'.

Here's a pic under a daylight bulb, so you can see a truer representation of the colour as well as where I've used the Soot.

Spartan Update!

Pretty much finished it.
Just one alternative hatch to do, and maybe stick on a Searchlight, dish and some other bits.









Do you think it needs anything else?

yeah, it could do with just one more thing....PAINT! for the love of the Emperor paint this thing already!! it just amazing and i cant wait to see it painted!
