Hi,

I am building a pre heresy raven guard army, and to respect the most I can the fluff, I am reading all that I find on the internet.
I find a lot of thing here but I do not find sources. I would like to know what are the sources of information (Imperial armour, WD ...).
We find so many things on the internet, and sometime very different, that is one of the reasons I sign here because it is in English, the natural language used by GW and people who writes fluff...
Many thanks

The novels and audios are the main sources of canon info. Everything else is open to revision by BL, as appropriate for the story.

Well, your first port of call should be the Raven Guard Index Astartes. See here for the part that is relevant for Pre-Heresy. There is a discussion here about what marks of armour the Legion would have had available in the Pre-heresy/heresy period that may also prove helpful. Corax himself makes appearences in the Heresy novels - he features in Fulgrim, The First Heretic, and is also the main character in the Raven's Flight audiobook, and the Legion is guaranteed to be the main protagonists of the upcoming Deliverence Lost which will doubtless shed more light on the Legion as a whole. In addition, Imperial Armour 8 has a section on the Raven Guard, although it largely repeats the information given in the Index Astartes article.

Hope that provides you with enough to get started!

The IA article relating to the Raven Guard appeared in White Dwarf 276 (or 275 in the USA) and also reprinted in 'Index Astartes IV'.

The short story 'The Face of Treachery' follows on from 'Raven's Flight', and is available as audio or eShort from the website, or in the 'Age of Darkness' anthology.
