Captain Group: Iterators Posts: 3,263 Member No.: 260 Joined: 26-May 08	Haha Vred Its definately not from the main rulebook (I just checked), but I'm 90% sure RT era Salamanders were that colour - I have some painted up from back then which are the same dark green that the dark angels became in 2nd ed. It might be one of the astronomican/compendium books (or perhaps even the original painting guide), i'll have a gander and then post what I find!

My pre-Heresy ones (still very WIP) are going to use a technique I used on my Chaos Warriors of the time, which was basically Dark Angels Green blended with Brazen Brass for a dark, dull green metallic look.
