I recently sold my Heresy Era Space Wolf army after receiving the Collected Visions art book as a gift and fell in love with the Death Guard while going through. So with my surplus of Mk.II and Mk.III armour I am beginning a new project.
With every army I do I like to understand as much about naming traditions, historical influences, random trivia bits about the army. So what better place than The Great Crusade to come for wisdom.
Any and all information or theories would be appreciated! Please just say there is more to the Death Guard than a primarch like the Grim Reaper and a seriously bad cold.
Get your hands on "Flight of the Eisenstein", there are some tidbits in there. I'm currently also looking for Death Guard info, but not just for pre-Heresy stuff. Perhaps "Promethean Sun" has some stuff in there too since the Death Guard were also fighting there.
So what does Promethean Sun say about the Death Guard? Besides the stuff we've already read in the teaser, since many of us don't have access to that book, it being a limited edition and all that!
From what I remember from reading they were pretty much like what you read in the teaser. Straight-forward, brutal, indomitable, and they hated weakness like the Iron Hands.
I would want more Heresy books on them. They could do some really cool things for them in the books.
