Thought I'd ask this here, as I've noticed a lot of the FW Missile Launcher's being used in various threads.

I'm in the middle of assembling a couple of Missile Launcher armed marines & am having trouble aligning all the parts to fit without trimming either the Launcher itself, or the Back pack.

I'm trying to achieve a firing type pose, in case you were wondering.

Does anyone have any advice, before I pull out the modelling knife to trim some resin?

Buy HW backpacks off e-bay.
Or cut off the right vent,it is barley noticeable with the big launcher catching the eye.

Yeah sadly they did some design screwup there as they haven't included any suitable backpacks to go with the missile launcher, as with the rest of the shoulder mounted weapons you'll need one of the heavy weapons backpacks (the ones with the vents pointing backwards) to make it work properly or you might have to carve some resin to get a good firing pose :)

For the Mk4 backpacks I cut off the right vent. For Mk2/3 marines, I use the FW heavy weapon backpack with the backwards facing vents.

As I am stuck in PNG until the new year, with no access to e-bay etc
It looks like I'm going to be trimming some Mk. 4 backpacks. ;)

I don't have time to mess about, as I will have some furious modelling & painting to do when I get back home.

I'll have two weeks to make sure my Luna Wolves are painted & ready to go for their first ever tourney...

(I must resist the lure of SWToR and Assassins Creed 3 & force myself to paint.)
