Could you tell me the brand name of that cutting mat? Having a tough time finding one. Appreciate the help. Looks good by the way.

No brand. I found it at the dollar store a few years back.

Looks like you Phobos pattern turret is an up-scaled version of the metal Phaeton pattern turret.
Am I right?

Well the metal and RT plastic model is named Phaeton in Imperial Armour volume II.
I did list it in a post in the Pre-Heresy vehicle thread.

Question: is it too big? most modern battle tanks have massive turrets but is this one getting too big?
Dullmohawk - June 21, 2012 03:18 PM (GMT)
I think it fits the bill quite nicely and wouldn't change a thing.....it could use some more rivets, though.
Gagoc TheAncient - June 21, 2012 06:41 PM (GMT)
I too think the size is just right.
And I agree with Dullmohawk that it needs some rivets. More of them then the current plastic but quite a bit less than the metal turret.

Wow, looking really good mate.
What do you use to cut the metal tubes and how did you get such a perfect hole for the muzzle flash?
Looking forward to more updates :)
