Title: Audio CDs Query
Description: Keeler and Oliton Specifically

First off sorry if this is the wrong section, couldn't make my mind up where I felt it belonged more.

I bought the Horus Rising audio cd on saturday and started to listen to it when I got in (still don't feel exactly confortable listening to audio cds). It got to the point where Loken gets inducted into the Mournival and I thought it weird that it never mentioned the part where Mersadie chats with the Army troopers and the iterator guide. Small alarm bells started to ring.

Then it got to the part where Euraphti and the other remembrancers come face to face with Jubal and it never got a mention. Now I feel this is a pretty significant moment for one of the major characters of the books and it was completely missing.

My query. Do Euraphti and Mersadie ever come into the CD's? I'm asking because I'd like to get False Gods and Let The Galaxy Burn but if the scene's with them are not included then I'll give them a miss.

Cheers in advance,
~Pettsy~

The clue is in the "abridged" bit... indeed, along with a few other non-essential parts of the story, all of the Remembrancers were omitted from the audio dramas for time.

Christian Dunn was the editor on those audios. If you got as far as 'Galaxy in Flames' you'd be amazed to hear that Iacton Qruze kills SERGEANT RASSEK rather than Maggard before leaving the Vengeful Spirit - we had to find a character who plays no further part in the story after that point, for him to fight...

They have been met with some disappointment from some existing HH fans, which is why we now only do *unabridged* audios.

Time for a proper stupid moment. Whats the difference between Abridged and Unabridged?

Thanks for the explanation.
