The Adeptus Mechanicus have always had a close place in my interests ever since I owned a copy of Titan Legions when I was at the budding age of 5, so inevitably 17 years down the line I had to attempt a project based on it.

This is only the launch pad if you would for something I hope to expand on over time, so please any comments and constructive criticsm are always welcome.


Arch-Magos: full servo-harness, digital weapons, Divisio Mandati = 125pts

Joined by a unit of Protectors: 3 Protectors (no upgrades) = 105pts

This unit is mounted in a Centaur Transport: insectromorphic, skitarii crew, pintle-mounted bolter = 70pts


2 units of Hypaspist Maniples: 11 Hypaspists, 2 plasma guns led by Tribune with melta bombs and a servo-arm. These units are transported within Mechanicus Termites =430pts

Heavy Support

Cataphract Leman Russ: gattling cannon turret, assault cannon sponsors, hull mounted lascannon, skitarii crew = 270pts

Altogether 1,000pts, what do you think should be the next step of expansion?

Welcome to the board! Looks like a fun little small list. I would recommend switching the Insectomorphic upgrade to the Leman Russ so it can fire all of its weapons on the move, as well as retaining Fast on the Centaur. I don't have any suggestions on what to add since the AdMech is so crazy you can build whatever and find rules for it later.

I agree with you on the Insectromorphic swap, the conundrum lies with how to model it though. A new challenge for my conversion skill, I'll have to look into it!
