I have been looking into pre-hersey terminator armour and i'm a little confused. Each legions terminator armour, are they the same build or does each legion modify the armour?
Can you give any visual images to the terminator armour?

I don't know the actual answer to your question, but I can give the following evidence from Horus Rising as to the issue of TDA amongst the Legions:

The use of the word "Specialist" implies that TDA suits weren't necessarily originally exclusive to veterans
The following Legions are inferred as having TDA in either the BL HH Series, artwork or another source:
- Luna Wolves/Sons of Horus (HH Series)
- Ultramarines (Artwork)
- Space Wolves (HH Series)
- Thousand Sons (HH Series)
- Alpha Legion (HH Series)
- Emperor's Children (HH Series)
- Dusk Raiders/Death Guard ((HH Series => Deathshroud?)
- Imperial Fists (HH Series)
- Iron Hands (HH Series)
I'm not sure about these legions: Blood Angels, Iron Warriors, White Scars, Night Lords, World Eaters, Word Bearers, Salamanders or Raven Guard.
