Title: Sanguinary Guard figures

Hello -

So, it's been more than 2 years since I painted the handful of Blood Angels and converted the Sanguinius using the Avatar of Aurelian figure by Reaper... but now I want to get back into this...

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about whether the current 40K Sanguinary Guard figures might be able to be converted to PH Bodyguard for Sanguinius. If so, what bits would you recommend adding/swapping out?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

They're fine already, though you may want to use some more pre-heresy friendly heads since they have either Mk. VII or Death Mask helms, but other than that, they're fine

Only one of the heads from the Sanguinary Guard set can pass for Heresy era and that's because it looks kinda like Mark V.
As for the rest, it represents artificered armour and weapons so it is usable.

Thanks for the advice, guys! I bought a pack and saw there are several "bare" heads in there, so I may use a couple of those. And I have some Mark IV helmets left over from some Red Scorpion kits I bought a couple years ago, so I'll probably use those.
