Title: looking for primarch stats (before & after)

stormbird1 - May 25, 2010 01:41 AM (GMT)
Hello all,

I'm looking for stats on all primarchs before and after the Horus hersey. I didn't know where else to look and thought of you guys. If you know any websites or any official rules for them please help.

Also need to know a scale to size that everyone is using to build their primarchs.

Also any thread that compiles descriptions of them or pics that are fluff correct.

Thanks

I have some stats - can't remember where I got it from will post up when I get home.

I would recommend the Tempus Fugitives rules.

whitehorn and others thanks for the replies. I have downloaded the siege of terra packs from Tempusfugitives.com and the fly lords horus hersey 2.5 pack, but there are still blanks.

Some of the primarchs don't have stats in the tempusfugitives and the lord of flies doesn't have any, just special characters.

I tried to download some of the other events at Tempusfugitives but i guess they are offline now.

I'm looking for stats on all primarchs before the hersey when they were all in the emperor's light. Also the stats for the ones that fell to chaos after. When a primarch falls to chaos his stats must change somewhat due to the powers of chaos corrupting and changing them.

Any thoughts?

Why do you need ALL the primarchs? Are you undertaking literally the most INSANE army ever...?

IMHO the TF Terra pack is the best representation of the Primarchs. There are choices for daemon/normal versions of each of the traitors, too.

Is it really beyond you to write your own for the ones you don't have, like Ferrus etc?

I have a query before I download the Tempus Fugitives rules, is vulkan on there?

ShroudFilm - June 10, 2010 12:01 PM (GMT)
He was certainly on the first one.

It doesn't take long to download though, it's not like you have to pay either.

MrBojab - June 11, 2010 09:45 AM (GMT)
No he is not on there so i was thinking something like this

Vulkan, Primarch of the Salamanders
Points: 500
Ws: 7
Bs: 7
S: 7
T: 7
W: 5
I: 5
A: 5
LD: 10

Wargear:
Primarch Armour(2+4++)
The Drake Hammer(Thunderhammer that strikes at Initiative)
Forge Flame(Stength 6, AP 4 heavy flamer)
Master Crafted Boltgun w/ Vulkan rounds(Hellfire bolts(2+ to wound), Dragonfire Bolts(Ignores Cover))

Special Rules:
Primarch
Stubborn
Rites of Battle
Legion Tactics(All flamers and meltas are twinlinked and thunderhammers are mastercrafted)

Is this too OP for a normal game?

Yes. All Primarch rules are too overpowered for 'standard' gaming anyway.

People linked you to the Tempus Fugitives rules, so you should use them as a base - I believe they have a base Primach stats as S/T6, and W5? So basically you have taken those and added extra S, T, W, and vastly better equipment, simply because its your favourite Primarch? Silly.

Back in a previous TF rulepack they DID have a version of Vulkan thats much more sensible than yours. As follows:

Cost: 475

WS 9
BS 6
S 7
T 6
W 5
I 5
A 5
LD 10

Special Rules:
Primarch; Rites of Battle; Vulkan's Sigil (counts as locator beacon)
Legion Tactics (all flamer and melta weapons in the army count as twin-linked, all thunder hammers count as master crafted).

Wargear:
Primarch Armour; Deathfire (+1 S Power weapon, reduces enemy I to 1 for next round on successful wound); Gauntlet of the Forge; Kesare's Mantle; Frag grenades and Melta bombs; Song of Entropy (shooting attack, one use per battle, all enemy units in LOS take pinning test).

There you go. Same cost, not nearly so overpowered.

I also lowered his Ws to 7, gave him an aditional 1 on Bs and I lowered his I to 5 where all the other primarchs have at least I 6. He is based off the Tempus Fugitive rules and maybe he should be an even 500 pts, but still.

PS- Will edit stats slightly and change equipment slightly

Why not use the Tempus Fugitives rules? Since that was your original plan, and I've given you their rules from the first Campaign pack.

Yeh your right

Ok, does anyone have any of the tempus fugtives event pack rules for the past events? I am looking mainly for the Primarch Ferrus rules.

MrBojab - August 2, 2010 12:14 AM (GMT)
what are the rules for Angron pre-heretic?

Cheers MrBojab
