May the glow be with you :D

ShroudFilm - April 7, 2010 09:04 AM (GMT)
It usually is, is some form or another!

Really bad that I only just noticed the black 'outer glow' on some of these for the first time now that I am viewing on a Mac.

Ilmarinen - April 7, 2010 10:13 AM (GMT)
Very cool. Although the eagle seems to be slowly shrinking!

What's the background to the black eagle?

ShroudFilm - April 7, 2010 10:18 AM (GMT)
All the eagles are black... :P

The website advert one? It's the red marble background with loads of flames and glare too.

Ilmarinen - April 7, 2010 12:21 PM (GMT)
Sorry, being unclear - why is the eagle black, why is it not an aquila, and what is the story behind the black eagle icon as the symbol of TGC?

Whitehorn - April 7, 2010 01:11 PM (GMT)
Because we don't look back :)

and GW would screw us for IP infringement.

Whitehorn - April 7, 2010 01:52 PM (GMT)
BTW Shroud, reminder to send me a high res of the logo for.. certain concepts. :ph43r:

ShroudFilm - April 7, 2010 04:03 PM (GMT)
Pre-Aquila, the symbol of the Emperor was the eagle. We added laurels and lightning bolts to make it a Unity-era symbol of the legions.

Thousand Son - June 28, 2010 08:09 PM (GMT)
Suggestion: Put the writing under the bird's feet? I can't see the lightning bolts proper like... Never noticed 'em before.
They look nice.

ShroudFilm - June 29, 2010 06:34 AM (GMT)
Small banners are small. Technically the writing SHOULD go under the eagle's feet, but on these banners it doesn't always fit.

What's next?

I need motivations :(

ShroudFilm - June 29, 2010 03:42 PM (GMT)
A new and exciting promotion where people are rewarded for fully finishing an army... :P

Whitehorn - June 29, 2010 03:53 PM (GMT)
*strokes best army nomination*

Who needs a complete army :P

Hmmmmm, sounds like someone has been reading IA 9.

Now does this army have to be started from scratch, or one that is already in progress?

Also, is it not just a little contradictory, when is an army fully finished?

Just when you think you have it nailed, GW or FW go and release something that makes you go back and revisit all over again.

ShroudFilm - December 24, 2010 01:18 PM (GMT)
It's just a campaign, you can use any army you like. There will be a lot of "interior" games in the plotline, but also lots of normal 30k.

Ilmarinen - December 26, 2010 08:45 AM (GMT)
Really liking the new banner. :)
