Title: Welcome Brethren!
Description: Lodge Members of Team Pre-Heresy

VESPASIAN - January 3, 2009 06:56 PM (GMT)
Welcome to all of you who have decided to join Team Pre-Heresy. I must say I'm very excited about this and looking forward to a fantastic competition.

I hope that you all have your Lodge medals (or your Team Pre-Heresy T-Shirts ;) ) ready: and are all prepared to say 'I can't say.'

This is a secret place that can only be seen by Team members and Moderators; so feel free to post your inspirational works, ideas etc here. If you don't want to post certain aspects of your work here, then that is absolutely fine too.

I thought that this thread could serve as a welcome/sign in thread for members of the Team, and a place to list which categories you will be entering this year and where you will be entering Golden Demon.

Depending on the quality of the finished mini, I hope to enter Angron's Devourer Champion as a single mini. I'm hoping to start on the Devourers next month, all going to plan...

Hello chaps.

Well, I'm definitely going to GD again this year and I shall be wearing 2 hats, in so far as I'm involved with the bigger boys from Platoon Britannica - these are the guys that carted off most of the statues last year.

I'm a little stumped in terms of Pre-Heresy entries for this year.
I have a few ideas for a vet squad for 40k squad, where the models may then spill out into 40k single and open, all under the same theme/scheme, with a possibility of a duel being the most likely PH entry.

I would like to get some WHFB done and possibly even a LOTR entry.

Sounds like big words, but I would stress that after the current Heroes/Villains competition entry and a St. George's Day comp on PB, I am then going to try and concentrate entirely on GD until September.

I think that a lot of the purpose of this particular forum will be to get some more honest critique.
There's not a lot of point in just saying "WOW, AWESOME" if you need to know what looks good and much more importantly what looks crud!
SO, when people put up WIP stuff here I'll try to give some proper feedback, and would ask the same in return.

I will ask whether we want to see NON-PH WIPs here?

Other than that, consider me IN B)

Hola folks, I'm Steve but you can call me Margaret!

I shall be attending GDUK this year (hopefully minus the godawful hangover this time round!) I didn't fetch up any entry to Golden Demon last year but I am hoping to have a go now.

I plan on 40k Single (Ok so its the hottest contested category but you have to start at some point eh?) which will be a PH miniature.

Also thinking about 40k Vehicle, WHFB Large monster and LOTR Single.

I also agree that this forum needs to be about open and honest critique and noone should post pictures etc if they are unable to take that critique.

Good luck guys!
