Wow, I really like the segmented armour on the Ultra Dread. Zhufor is looking spanking too. He seems to be of actual height also. :o

shorty - October 17, 2008 06:40 AM (GMT)
Hmm they are mixing....Venerable Dread with Tyranid War Battle Honours...meee dont like it...but the rest of the body looks good...

And for the Khorne Lord....dont like the Axe....but the Helmet is pure Sex....

ShroudFilm - October 17, 2008 11:03 AM (GMT)
Were it not for the Khorne symbol, he would be excellent for PH. He's even got the legion icon on his leg! :D

shorty - October 17, 2008 11:09 AM (GMT)
Hmm wondering if he also is a One Piece Mold or if the Torso is a separate piece...If yes problem solved and you can just use his legs...Hmm Legs with World Eaters Logo...

BigWill - October 17, 2008 02:11 PM (GMT)
You can always cut off the khorne symbol looks easy enough to do.

Iacton - October 17, 2008 03:24 PM (GMT)
He has a khorne symbol on his chest, wrist and bonce too. I would guess that there is one on his power fist also....

Gagoc TheAncient - October 17, 2008 06:00 PM (GMT)
Well by the look of things his torso and legs are two seperate pieces, and it looks as though his arms and there pauldrons are also seperate pieces.
And, of course, we do know his head is seperate.

So itlooks poassible to use him as a base for a PH model, and maybe have some bits left over for other WE conversions!

Maratheus - October 18, 2008 11:26 AM (GMT)
I think the head is separate too as he has a helmet option. Removing the Khorne symbols wouldn't be much of a problem in my opinion.

ShroudFilm - October 18, 2008 12:41 PM (GMT)
Ahh, balls to it... I'll get one anyway and try my luck... :D

Doghouse - October 18, 2008 12:52 PM (GMT)
I'm not convinced that he'd be that great for PH. It seems like a lot of work would be needed to get it looking Imperial and then you'd have to convert the model further to make it resemble the PH stuff.
You probably be better off converting a regular plastic terminator with a box of the newer skeletons and some fine chain. It might cost more this way but you'd be saving yourself a lot of hardwork and probaly have enough bits to convert a full squad.
You could pick up an AoBR terminator squad for about a tenner, skeletons for another tenner then the small chain.
So say twenty five quid for five over fifteen for one.

I do like the Nob biker though, might have to get them for my pre-heresy Orks i'm working on.

Gagoc TheAncient - October 18, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
Just found this on Ebay:

shorty - October 20, 2008 06:47 AM (GMT)
So you have it....I think the sell for this kit will go skyhigh because everone into Pre Heresy wants his Legs for World Eater Terminator Pre Heresy Conversions *ggg*...

I was thinking, concerning the Chaos Lord..

Temple Fugitives have said 'no non-GW models' for their event next year (this is to do with it being literally in GW's backyard, which is fair enough) and so the special 'primarchs' are not going to be an option. But, with a bit of work, perhaps that terminator Lord could become an Angron? :)

Jul063 - November 6, 2008 01:19 AM (GMT)
more drop pods for Jul, for sure....

Boss Ork is okay but 38 quids is quite a lot for the model in itself

ShroudFilm - November 6, 2008 02:53 PM (GMT)
My immediate thought was Angron conversion... that guy is huge...!

Battle Brother Loken - November 6, 2008 03:09 PM (GMT)
i want to see the new lord of change <_<
but i love those bikes
and i might just buy the chaos lord because
just because if yah know what i mean :P

Pacific - November 6, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
I had a bunch of tactical marines get gunned down by those bikes today, but I didn't mind so much as the models looked so great ^_^

Battle Brother Loken - November 25, 2008 03:08 PM (GMT)
could we make this thread keep us updated on GW normal stuff too?

fresh news from FW:

Forge World Will be Passing on UK Tax Reduction to its Customers
Recently, the UK Government has decided to reduce the rate of Value Added Tax (the UK sales tax) on all products subject to it by 2.5%, reducing it from 17.5% to 15%.

As a result Forge World will be passing on the effect of this reduction to all its customers with immediate effect, which will be represented by a reduction in our prices. All orders placed on our online store from now on will be processed and charged at these new lower rates, (except for our book products, which are not subject to VAT.)

This is great news for all our customers worldwide, because although this is a UK tax change, we have decided to apply these new lower prices to all the orders placed directly with Forge World, not just those from within the UK. This means that Forge World models are now lower in price for everyone.

But the question is: Grey Knight or Inquisitor Terminator?

Have already received the newsletter with this in...but now I want to see the rest of it! :D

... actually I just want to buy the figure now and have it delivered tommorrow!

I think that it is definately a Special Character Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus in Terminator armour. ;)

Erm...what I mean to say is that its definately not a Grey Knight; as the Inquisitorial symbol is repeated throughout the section of the figure which we can see; and there is not a sword pierced book in sight! ;)

BigWill - December 6, 2008 12:39 AM (GMT)
The Evil of it All
they just know how to pull on my purse-strings

Vredesbyrd - December 6, 2008 12:42 AM (GMT)
Inquisitor Solomon Lok is back, and he's not happy.

solmen Lok. REDEMPTION! :o

BigWill - December 6, 2008 04:22 AM (GMT)
I think thats Silas Hand.
That would be badass if it was

Gagoc TheAncient - December 6, 2008 09:13 PM (GMT)
Wasn't Silas Hand one of the Inquisitors killed of in Daemonifuge?

Battle Brother Loken - December 6, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
all i know is that is a cool storm sheild

Gagoc TheAncient - December 13, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
They've released another part of the pic.

user posted image

So there's at least another piece, but it is looking as though it is an Inquisitor.

Kriegersen - December 13, 2008 08:36 PM (GMT)
its solmen lok, but bigger, badder and well prettier! (I just couldn't say uglier cause that would be a lie :D )

BigWill - December 13, 2008 09:26 PM (GMT)
Thats what I say Solomon Lok in Termie Armor
I was thinking possibly Knight because it may or may not be a book at the chest until I looked at my Lok figure.
The Icon on the chest looks the same on Lok and the mystery Termie
I guess he jumped ship to Malleus

I have to buy two right off the bat to make one Silias Hand then
and yes Silias is the Inq from Deamonfuge

Gagoc TheAncient - December 19, 2008 09:56 PM (GMT)
Allow me to introduce you to Inquisitor Hector Rex.

user posted image

Apparently he's going to be a major player in the next Imperial Armour book, and he will have an FW retinue.

Brother-Captain Basilus - December 19, 2008 10:39 PM (GMT)
Awwweee, with the right conversions he'll make an awesome custodes ;)

That miniature is fantastic,...can't wait to see the retinue.

Plus its a Terminator armour with Pre-Heresy style shoulderpads!!!! :D :D :D

Gagoc TheAncient - December 20, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
But it also resembles Grey Knight Termie armour.

Gagoc TheAncient - December 23, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
