I remember feeling dejected when he left. Also I was a bit angry with Edward however noble his intentions where, for leaving her. I was glad she had Jacob and I am a huge fan of him, but I missed Edward! This made it nearly unbearable to finish the book. I did however flip to the back to see if he did return. I was afraid she (SM) was doing away with him.

Once I got confirmation that wasn't true I was able to mutter through the rest of the book.
