Age: 17 (has been a vamp for only four years)

Resident: no where really. She has been a nomad for most of her life.

Character's Physical Description: Let’s see…Claire has jet black hair that shows a tint of red in the sunlight. It is short, to about her chin, and is awkwardly layered all over. It sounds weird, but it works for her, especially since she is constantly on the move. Short hair is easy to maintain, not that she really cares about her appearance at the moment. Formerly, her eyes were a deep earthy brown. Now, they are currently a chilled ruby red. She is five foot eight inches. Claire is originally from Asia, trekking to Washington, U.S. from her home. Her skin is darker, not as light and transparent as Edward’s or Alice’s. She can usually be seen dressed in worn jeans, sturdy tennis shoes, a t-shirt and a light moisture-repellant jacket and carrying a backpack with the few possessions she has. She feels most comfortable in this, as it is easy to move around and always convenient.
History: As mentioned before, Claire was born in Asia, South Korea to be exact. Her given Koran name was Myung (pronounced Mi-young). She was born into a ‘normal’ family and had an older brother, six years her major. Her parents worked a lot in business, so her brother, Kwan had to bring her along with him everywhere he went, including to his friends’ wild parties.
It wasn’t the best of ideas, but Iris’ parents didn’t care where they went exactly, just as long as they were both safe and didn’t get into any trouble. It was at one of Sean’s friend’s crazy parties that Iris’ life was dramatically changed. Their party was at someone’s house, and Iris just stayed in one of the empty bedrooms with the door locked watching TV, like she usually did. She had no interest in any of her brother’s friends as they had a tendency of being immoral and presuming, especially around girls.
There must have been at least one hundred people at the party that night. There was a lot of drinking, loud music, and drugs going on. That night, a neighbor had called the police and said that their next door neighbors were being extremely disruptive. They thought there was some illegal drug use, too. So, the police showed up. The neighbor may have been guessing, but everyone was guilty of doing something they weren’t supposed to, so they all scattered. Beers and drugs were left behind…along with Claire. Scared at all of the commotion she heard, she climbed out of the window and ran to try to find Kwan, but he had already left.
Wandering around the neighborhood by herself (it wasn’t a great part of town, either) she was attacked by Jeaki. Yes, he was a vampire. Claire was helpless against him and would have surely died, but a local stepped in. He was a veteran who was a little messed up from the war (if you know what I mean) and he was at his stakeout on his roof top with his 50 cal BMG. He is kind of crazy, but he was there when Claire was attacked. He shot Jeaki in the shoulder and twice in the abdomen, enough to get him off of Claire. Jeaki ran away, because he was a cowardly creature, always in the shadows, avoiding being seen.
After that, the helpful vet tried to help her, but Claire ran away from him. She ran away in extreme pain, though all she wanted to do was find her brother. Claire never found her brother again, and went through her transition alone. It was very painful for her, and she was just waiting to die. Unexpectedly, the pain subsided and she arose with a new drive in her. She thirsted for blood. She found she had an extreme sense of smell, sight, and strength. Ironically, the first life she took was the helpful man who had shot Jeaki.
Ever since then, Claire has not known anything else other than her thirst for blood. She may not fully comprehend what she is, but she lives to kill. Over the years, Claire has found that it is easier to move around from place to place, never being recognized. Also through her travels, she has run into several other vampires, and talking with them is how she concluded what she’d become. She runs everywhere, and avoids humans as much as possible; their smell may lead her to just go crazy feeding. That wouldn’t be prudent, because she always wants to stay hidden, unknown, and inconspicuous. Though, recently she has been bolder, going into small towns to hunt…

Personality: She renamed herself Claire after her transformation. Her name means ‘abandoned’. Claire is sometimes eccentric. It is especially evident in her whereabouts and habits. For instance, she has a routine of putting her finished victims face down before she leaves. No idea why. She loves to run, particularly because she is usually running from something or someone. Only once has she been in a fight against another vampire, and it was over food. Claire obviously won the fight.
She is always aware, never really able to relax. The smell of blood always makes her tense, because the aroma just makes her want to go crazy. She isn’t all that great around people. When she is around humans, it is evident that she is different; she just gives off this “stay away from me and I won’t hurt you” impression. Claire always seems to be striving after something she can’t reach, like acceptance, friends, and that feeling of safety. She's not all that interested in finding a partner right now, because she would see it as a weakness. Claire doesn't think she needs anyone; only herself. She is a wary, alert, untrusting, and fierce being.

Education: Iris was in the process of finishing high school, but never graduated.

Family members: Claire has no current family members. She is very independent and self-reliant. (but if a description of the past family members is needed, let me know)

Extra for Vamps:
Vampire talents: Claire can manipulate the current time. She can stop the current time she is in. She can not go forward or backward in time, though. She can also included whoever or whatever she wants in her "time zone." (that's what she calls it)

and as to the family bios, if the past members will not be included in any of your rps, I suppose there is no real need. but I'll re check the rules and let you know if I find out differently ;)

yeah, sorry for not elaborating on that.

uh, Claire has the ability to stop time. For example, if she gets in a bind with another person, she can just stop time and make a quick excape. To everybody not in her "time zone", it looks like she just disappeared. But really, she is just moving so much faster that their eyes can't detect it. To a vampire's eye, they may just see a blur, but to humans, she just disappears. Am I making any sense??
umm... she can also included other people or objects in her "time zone". For instance, if she would happen to have a partner (which she doesn't at the moment) and the two of them needed to make an excape, she could make everything else stop but them.
She doesn't use it that much. Only when she is panicked and doesn't see any other way out. She uses it only with other vampires, primarily b/c humans don't really pay attention to them anyways. It is getting away unseen by other vamps that is tricky.

and no past family you don't have to describe even if they are in one of your rpg's that section is only for close friend or family that you will more then likely use in your rpgs most of the time.
