I have not made one of these traps yet but they are the best i have seen at catching squirrels, Buy your wire 48" and you only have one place to clamp. Bend it 16 then 8 and then16 again and you are ready to clamp it together. Your ends are 8X16 and in the tunnel end make a opening 4" high 5" wide and center it. Then the tunnel is 4 high and 5 wide and I think 10 long. Using 1/2 in hardware cloth make a 4X7 flap and put a small bend on one end 1" so when you hinge it will lay flat on the botton. Put the flap in the tunnel and attach to the top so the bottom will not stick past the tunnel end. I catch as many as 3 at a time when young squirrels are first hitting the ground. The tube I attach to the side on the opposite end from the tunnel and cut the wire so you will have to bend the end out to go inside the pipe to help hold it in place. Hope this helps you.....
